Anthony Edwards Leads Timberwolves With 26 Points
3 years agoIn Minnesota's 107-97 win over Sacramento, Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards maintained his hot start to his sophomore season. In 40 minutes, the 2020 No. 1 overall pick painted the box score with 26 points, five rebounds, four three-pointers, one assist, and one steal. It was the sixth 20-point outing of the month for Edwards, and he's now 16th in the league in scoring. The second-year guard is getting as many shots as he wants every night. Wednesday marked the 11th time in 14 games where the guard took at least 20 shots. He's sitting right inside the top-60 in nine-category leagues right now, and a little more efficiency and selflessness could see him crack the top-50 sooner rather than later.
