3 years agoMiami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler had another great scoring performance in Saturday's 103-100 loss to Washington, going 11-for-19 from the field and 7-for-9 at the foul line en route to a game-high 29 points. As usual, Butler also got involved in other areas, picking up five rebounds and delivering four assists with one turnover in 38 minutes. His defensive work consisted of two steals. Butler is now averaging 31 points for his last three outings. We can expect his scoring surge to continue next week, as Miami starts the action against a rebuilding Detroit team and Butler's former side, the Timberwolves. He averaged 27.5 points against Minnesota last season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
