3 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant had a superb outing against the Lakers on Sunday, finishing a 121-116 loss with a game-high 36 points on 12-for-25 shooting from the field. He hit 5-for-9 from downtown and 7-for-10 at the charity stripe, grabbing four rebounds and recording three assists with one steal and one turnover in 37 minutes. Grant also had a 35-point effort against Houston earlier in the month, but he's taken a big step backward scoring-wise compared to last season. With 15 games played, this was only the second time Grant managed 20-plus points this term. Miami's tough defense will welcome Grant next, so it will be pretty difficult for him to start building momentum.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
