Cameron Johnson Sets New Career-High With 22 Points
3 years agoPhoenix Suns forward Cameron Johnson did enough damage in 23 minutes to set a new career-high in points on Sunday. In a 126-97 win over the Denver Nuggets, Johnson scored 23 points on 9-for-15 shooting to accompany four three-pointers, two assists, a rebound, and a steal. It was the first time Johnson scored more than 13 points all season, so there's not a lot to see here until a significant injury occurs in Phoenix. However, in the right matchup, the third-year player may be worth a stream at the end of a week to make up the difference in rebounding or threes. The new career-high is nice, but fantasy managers shouldn't jump on Johnson until he can consistently do this.
