3 years agoBoston Celtics shooting guard Josh Richardson (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Rockets due to a non-COVID-19 illness. Richardson's absence marks his fourth this season, paving the way for Dennis Schroder to be the top scoring option within the second unit, while Romeo Langford could see some added run in his return to action. Richardson has settled into a bench role with Boston that has seen him play between roughly 26-30 minutes over the past two weeks, averaging 11 points per game in that span. His next chance to return to action comes Wednesday vs. Brooklyn.--Jesse Borek
