3 years agoDenver Nuggets power forward Jeff Green popped up with a team-high 24 points in Tuesday's loss to Portland, going 9-for-16 from the field and 3-for-4 from outside. He was big on the defensive end as well with three blocks and had three rebounds with four assists and two turnovers in 35 minutes. The Nuggets are battling injuries and it's given the supporting cast a chance to shine. Green also had a nice 19-point outing on Sunday against the Suns. Nikola Jokic (wrist) has missed both of the last two games, so expect Green to keep up his good form if the reigning MVP stays sidelined for the rest of the week.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
