Blast Premier Fall Final
Best of 3
- FaZe (-240) vs. BiG (+180)
- NiP (-475) vs. Team Liquid (+305)
Captain Plays
Twistzz: In their last matchup about a month ago, which was also on LAN. FaZe smashed BiG, dominantly winning 32-13. Twistzz was a big part of that win going +31 on 48 kills. That is just an insane stat line to hold over two maps. Twistzz was also the only one in their previous game to end up positive as FaZe came up short against Heroic on both maps. He has been a demon on LAN, as he holds a 1.24 K/D with a .76 KPR and a .60 DPR over 24 maps. I expect BiG to keep it a bit closer than their last matchup but I still FaZe coming out on top.
device: It might be tough to get him in as captain but I really like him in general as a Flex play. He is normally the best player on his team and in a game where it is win or go home against a team that has no identity right now. All I'm seeing are green lights for NiP's AWPer. He has clearly shown to be the best player on his team during LAN events as he holds a 1.24 K/D with a .76 KPR and a .62 DPR over 28 maps played on LAN. I see this matchup being a lot more in favor of NiP this time around and I don't see them letting off the gas here. This is a great bounce back and gets back on track spot for device. I faded him last game, this time around I'm all in on device.
Other captain plays in order of preference: broky, rain, hampus, tabsen(GPP)
Value Plays
Plopski: After their performance the other day, it's hard to trust them I know. But this matchup is just too good to pass up. Liquid is about to go into rebuild mode and some of these players just don't care it seems like. Plopski was about the only one who looked halfway decent in their game against Astralis but this matchup is much nicer. At this point taking the cheap play from NiP is just a good move to make. They should come out of this one with a sweep and knock Liquid out of the tournament. We just need him to play decently well tomorrow and he should score well enough to pay off that price.
Karrigan: Karrigan is the definitive punt play here. He is 5,400$ and is kind of a dart throw option in FaZe stacks. I would rather have rain so paying up to him would be the better option but with how expensive those top plays from NiP and FaZe are, getting a cheap play that has a chance at a good game tomorrow could be that necessary piece to the puzzle to get the takedown. In their last matchup against BiG, Karrigan went +13 on 37 kills. Normally Karrigan doesn't play that well but maybe we get lucky again and he sneaks a positive and FaZe gets the sweep like last time.
Other value plays in order of preference: rain, es3tag, syrson(GPP), Stewie2k(GPP)

Top Stacks / Team Picks
NiP: It looked like Team Liquid doesn't even care anymore in their matchup against Vitality. With all the rumors of players leaving going into the new year. I think they are just trying to play through the tournament and get it over with. Therefore I think NiP is in a great spot to bounce back after a disappointing game against what could be a very good Astralis team. Plopski looked good though and is a very cheap option for tomorrow's slate. device should bounce back and I like him as one of the best options on the team. Especially with device, hampus, and REZ all being very close in price. REZ hasn't looked great on LAN this year and his price is probably a fade for me. es3tag had his first game with NiP and didn't look great but it might just take a game or two to get into the groove. Not a bad option at 6k but I prefer Plopski for 800$ more.
Other team picks: FaZe, BiG(GPP)
Predictions
NiP 2-0
FaZe 2-0
