Kemba Walker, Derrick Rose Ruled Out For Saturday
3 years agoNew York Knicks point guards Kemba Walker (rest) and Derrick Rose (ankle) will be sidelined for Saturday's contest against the Hawks. The absence of the veteran duo figures to funnel the vast majority of PG minutes in the direction of Immanuel Quickley and RJ Barrett, while Alec Burks will stand to take on an elevated role among the team's second unit. Rose's absence will be his third in a row, with Quickley getting an extended look, which gives him short-term season-long stream appeal. The next chance for either Walker or Rose to suit up comes Tuesday vs. Brooklyn.
