3 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Nick Richards will make the first start of his NBA career Monday against the Bulls with Mason Plumlee (calf) sidelined. Richards has been utilized scarcely off the bench this season, averaging 3.5 points and 2.1 boards in just 9.1 minutes of action. But the seven-footer not only has shot 65.8 percent from the floor this season, he has working in his favor the fact that his first time among the starting five comes on his 24th birthday. He will draw a sizable defensive challenge in slowing Chicago's Nikola Vucevic, but Richards remains a last-minute DFS roll of the dice option that could have value in cash lineups.--Jesse Borek
