3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves power forward Jaden McDaniels (illness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Wizards, while Jarred Vanderbilt (illness) has received the green light to suit up. McDaniels' status is not looking rosy for Friday's outing, either, as the 21-year-old did not travel with the team for its trip east. Conversely, Vanderbilt being cleared paves the way for the 22-year-old to get the vast majority of run at the four spot, thereby elevating his DFS intrigue significantly. Coming back from a one-game absence, Vanderbilt has been on a recent rebounding tear, having snagged an average of 11.7 boards across his last six outings.--Jesse Borek
