Jerry Jeudy Leads Broncos With 77 Receiving Yards Sunday
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy caught four of his six targets for a team-leading 77 receiving yards in the 22-9 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. Jeudy's four receptions were tied for second-most on the team, and his six targets were also tied for second-most. The 22-year-old second-year wideout continues to be quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's favorite receiver. However, Bridgewater has mostly been mediocre this season, and the Broncos are a run-first offense when they get into positive game script. Most of Jeudy's damage was done late in the game with the Chiefs up by multiple scores. Jeudy will be looking for his first touchdown of the season in Week 14 against the Detroit Lions, where he'll be a WR3/flex.

Jerry Jeudy Has More Potential Heading Into Week 1
3 years agoThe Denver Broncos failed to use wide receiver Jerry Jeudy as a playmaker last year, and he played in only 10 games, leading to a disappointing final line of 38 catches, 467 yards and no touchdowns in his second season. With quarterback Russell Wilson now in town and receiver Tim Patrick (knee) out for the year, the former first-rounder could easily have a breakout season in 2022. Wilson called the 23-year-old a "bright light" and said "he's going to have a really amazing year." Touted as an elite route-runner coming out of college, it hasn't really helped Jeudy produce in his two NFL seasons. But he's been working closely with Wilson all offseason, and the new coaching staff is trying to make sure he gets the ball more often. Heading into Monday night's Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, Jeudy will be a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 for fantasy managers.

Courtland Sutton, Jerry Jeudy To Have Prominent Roles
3 years agoWith Denver Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick (knee) out for the year, receivers Courtland Sutton and Jerry Jeudy will have more prominent roles in the offense. Quarterback Russell Wilson has shown in training camp that he's going to move the ball around to find favorable matchups, but he's also shown in practices that when he really needs a completion or has been moved off his spot by the pass rush, he's looking for Sutton. But it remains to be seen if that tendency will hold up in games, and Jeudy is too good of a route-runner to not be a factor. If both Sutton and Jeudy stay healthy throughout the year, ESPN.com's Jeff Legwold thinks they'll both have their best years. Sutton is slightly more attractive as a WR2 in fantasy football because he has more experience and has a 1,000-yard season under his belt, but both pass-catchers could have very nice seasons with Wilson as their QB.

Jerry Jeudy Says He's Healthy
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (groin), who missed a part of organized team activities with a strained groin, said he's healthy ahead of training camp at the end of July. Remaining on the field will be a significant factor in whether the former first-rounder can make a big leap in his third NFL season with quarterback Russell Wilson this year. The 23-year-old has been a disappointment at this early juncture in his career, especially after playing in only 10 games due to injury in 2021 while failing to catch a single touchdown pass. Jeudy should see a boost with Wilson under center, but there are still plenty of mouths to feed in this offense. He'll be a fine target as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 if he can stay on the field.

Jerry Jeudy Misses Practice
3 years agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy (groin) was off to the side at practice on Monday, as was tight end Greg Dulcich. Jeudy was removed from practice last week with a groin injury, and the Broncos are taking a cautious approach during offseason workouts. Head coach Nathaniel Hackett said the 23-year-old removal from practice last week was precautionary, so he should be ready for training camp next month. However, the third-year wideout is missing valuable repetitions with new quarterback Russell Wilson. Jeudy played in only 10 games last year due to injury and finished with a disappointing 38 catches for 467 yards and no touchdowns. There is still plenty of competition for aerial targets in Denver, but Jeudy has breakout potential as a low-end WR2 target.
