Jerry Jeudy Has More Potential Heading Into Week 1
2 years agoThe Denver Broncos failed to use wide receiver Jerry Jeudy as a playmaker last year, and he played in only 10 games, leading to a disappointing final line of 38 catches, 467 yards and no touchdowns in his second season. With quarterback Russell Wilson now in town and receiver Tim Patrick (knee) out for the year, the former first-rounder could easily have a breakout season in 2022. Wilson called the 23-year-old a "bright light" and said "he's going to have a really amazing year." Touted as an elite route-runner coming out of college, it hasn't really helped Jeudy produce in his two NFL seasons. But he's been working closely with Wilson all offseason, and the new coaching staff is trying to make sure he gets the ball more often. Heading into Monday night's Week 1 matchup against the Seattle Seahawks, Jeudy will be a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 for fantasy managers.
