3 years agoHouston Rockets center Christian Wood shot 5-for-6 from downtown en route to 23 points in a 118-108 win on Sunday against New Orleans. He finished 7-for-13 overall from the field and shot 4-for-8 at the foul line. Wood's work on the glass consisted of eight rebounds this time around, and he posted two assists and two blocks with two turnovers in 32 minutes. The 26-year-old had an injury scare against OKC at the start of last week, but he's come back to the lineup in very nice form, hitting seven triples and notching 20-plus points in back-to-back games. Wood needs to be at his absolute best to continue his scoring streak in the next couple of games, with Brooklyn and Milwaukee set to challenge Houston's six-game winning streak.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
