Welcome back, RotoBallers! Okay, so I originally began writing this article when there were five games still on the main slate. Then Thursday afternoon it got announced that five games this weekend would be postponed due to Covid outbreaks, and it just so happened that three of them were on this slate. That brings us down to just two games across the league on Saturday, and this article will focus on the late single-game slate if you missed the earlier lock for the full roster slate. Keep reading this breakdown for my DFS soccer picks on RotoBaller and see how to have success on Saturday's slate.
The very large majority of my DFS content will be EPL-related, however, there is more soccer than just what is being played in England. If you want to chop it up with myself and other RotoBaller writers about non-EPL leagues or other sports, consider becoming a premium member and joining our ever-growing community of DFS and fantasy sports enthusiasts!
In this article, I will be providing you with my English Premier League daily fantasy soccer lineup picks for FanDuel on 12/18/21 for the slate that locks at 12:30 pm ET. Be sure to also check out our other DFS lineup picks for other active sports. You can always find me on Twitter @vdray5 if you have any questions. Good luck, RotoBallers!

EPL DFS Lineup Picks - Overview
Leeds vs Arsenal
After a dreadful start to their season where people were talking about relegation, Arsenal (-105) have climbed the table quickly up to 4th place. Arsenal have won two straight games and head to Leeds to take on a side that just got absolutely steamrolled 7-0 by Manchester City. This game should be a good environment for the fantasy game - as are most Leeds games. The goal total over/under is 2.5 with the over at -133.
FanDuel DFS Forwards / Midfielders
Alexandre Lacazette ($15) will be one of Arsenal's top options on this slate and going forward with ongoing issues between Aubameyang and Arteta. Aubameyang is not even available for selection in this gmae. Lacazette looks to have finally found his form in his last two games with a goal, an assist, three chances created, and four shots on goal among other defensive stats. He has a top-tier matchup Saturday against a Leeds defense that just got scored on seven times in one game. They've been bleeding goals and other meaningful peripherals to opposing attackers all season long. Emile Smith-Rowe ($13) is another Arsenal attacker in a plus spot on this slate who you should consider for your captain spot. His matchup is great, and ESR has goals in his last two games for Arsenal.
Stacking up as many Arsenal attackers as you can is a smart strategy on this slate when you consider how Leeds give up goals and peripherals. Martin Odegaard ($12) would be next on my list followed by Bukayo Saka ($11) and his newfound form.
Leeds have been pretty bad attacking-wise as well this year which isn't like them. Raphina ($14) is viable - but expensive - option. I also like Jack Harrison ($7) for this crazy-low price.
FanDuel DFS Defenders
Leeds give up way more combined defensive action than Arsenal does which is unfortunate if you were trying to get four Arsenal attackers on this slate. Kieran Tierney ($7) is a cheap way to get exposure to this matchup as one of the cheapest expected starters on the slate regardless of position. He is averaging 16.9 FanDuel points in his three games since returning to the regular starting lineup. Ben White ($8) can score pretty well in this matchup too with his ability to get tackles and interceptions, and he's also reasonably priced on Saturday.
Stuart Dallas ($7) is my favorite Leeds defender. He's been the most consistent of the bunch this season, and he has some attacking upside as well.
