3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point guard D'Angelo Russell made a lot of plays on Thursday against Utah and ended up matching his career high with 14 assists. He completed a double-double by getting 19 points on 7-for-20 shooting. It was a rough performance from the field, but Russell actually managed to hit four of his eight triples, and his line also included seven rebounds with three turnovers in 41 minutes. Russell has now posted back-to-back double-doubles after previously having only two of them for the season. He's currently doing a lot of the heavy lifting with Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards unavailable because of health and safety protocols.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
