Christiaan Bezuidenhout A Possible Sleeper This Week
3 years agoChristiaan Bezuidenhout comes to La Quinta for the first time this week for The American Express. The 27-year-old South African had a strong showing last week at The Sony Open. Bezuidenhout gained 4.7 strokes from tee-to-green at Waialae while finishing in 17th place. Bezuidenhout is known as a great iron player and strong putter. Those skills will come in handy this week, as ball-striking is an important ability at La Quinta. The course here also seems to fit his style, as he has other solid performances at Pete Dye courses. Bezuidenhout will likely be low-owned in DFS this week. That makes him an intriguing sleeper play in GPPs.
