Jordan Spieth Too Expensive At Torrey Pines
3 years agoJordan Spieth comes into Torrey Pines off a T21 finish at the Sentry Tournament of Champions in his first start of 2022. That finish alone doesn't warrant Spieth to be priced inside the top-12 players in the field, and neither does his history at Torrey Pines. Spieth hasn't finished inside the top-20 at the Farmers Insurance Open since 2014, and only has two rounds under 70 in his last 10 at the event. Spieth won't struggle with the distance at Torrey Pines, but his approach this season has been rough. Spieth currently sits 215th on tour in strokes gained on approach. With his history, and price this week, Spieth is one to stay away from at Torrey Pines.
