3 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard James Harden has been traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. In exchange, the Nets will receive guards Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, and center Andre Drummond. The Nets will also receive two first-round draft picks from the 76ers. This is a huge addition for the Sixers roster who desperately needed another superstar alongside center Joel Embiid. Philadelphia also acquired veteran forward Paul Millsap in this deal. The Sixers now have a championship caliber team with Harden, Embiid, and Tobias Harris as their main pieces. The assumption is that Simmons is going to immediately suit up for the Nets. Although, it's Simmons, so fantasy managers will have to wait and see. The addition of Drummond is great for the Nets who desperately need a reliable big man. His value should increase in Brooklyn, while Curry's value should remain about the same as it was in Philly. A trade that seemingly helps both teams improve their rosters for a championship run.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
