Karl-Anthony Towns Wins Three-Point Contest
3 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns won the three-point contest on Saturday night in Cleveland. The seven-footer joins Dirk Nowitzki and Kevin Love as the other bigs who have won the contest. Towns came into the contest with the lowest odds to win, but he came up clutch. He scored 29 points in the final round to outscore both Luke Kennard and Trae Young. Those 29 points are a new record for the highest score in the final round of the current format. It was an outstanding performance from Towns, and this will hopefully give him some momentum heading into the second half.
