3 years agoSurprisingly, Jon Rahm will make his first career start at Bay Hill this week. We haven't seen Rahm play on the PGA Tour since the Genesis, in which he finished outside the top-20. Besides that, Rahm has a finish no worse than T14 on the PGA Tour since the calendar flipped to 2022. Rahm leads the way on tour in strokes gained off the tee, gaining 1.227 strokes off the tee. His other key stats include second in strokes gained tee to green, third in strokes gained total, and fifth in strokes gained on approach. Rahm has been iffy with his putter this season, sitting only 88th on tour in strokes gained putting. In fact, Rahm has lost strokes on the greens in back-to-back starts, and in three of his six starts this season. That doesn't set up well for Bay Hill, but his putter can get hot at any time.
