3 years agoDallas Mavericks point guard Luka Doncic delivered his sixth game of the season hitting the 40-point plateau during Thursday's win over the Warriors. The 23-year-old went 15-for-26 from the floor, including 4-for-10 from long range, holding off Golden State for the second time in five days. In addition to his whopping scoring totals, Doncic came just an assist shy of a triple-double, having snagged 10 rebounds. Over his last nine outings, Doncic has averaged 35.8 points, 10.2 boards, and 7.3 assists, while also knocking down better than four triples per contest. His DFS price tag is likely to continue rising at this stage, as he remains Dallas' unquestioned No. 1 option on nearly every possession he's on the floor. He has a tantalizing matchup Saturday vs. Sacramento, who boasts the league's second-lowest defensive efficiency.--Jesse Borek
