Fred VanVleet Remains Sidelined For Friday’s Game
3 years agoToronto Raptors point/shooting guard Fred VanVleet (knee) has been deemed unavailable for Friday's contest against the Magic as he battles right knee soreness. Malachi Flynn has taken over starting point guard duties in VanVleet's absence and stands to be a solid DFS option for as long as the Raptors' leading scorer is sidelined. Toronto has been mum on when VanVleet could return to the mix. When healthy, the league's leading minutes per game producer (38.2) has put himself on pace to set new career highs with an average of 21.4 points and 6.9 assists on a nightly basis. VanVleet's next chance to take the floor comes Sunday vs. Cleveland.
