3 years agoEverything that could go wrong for Erik van Rooyen did last week at the Arnold Palmer. The 73 in Round 1 was bad enough. The 79 was an unmitigated disaster that left the South African lost for words. The double bogey on the 15th was a real dagger. Erik van Rooyen hit too many errant shots to make the cut. Accuracy is a key core to success at Sawgrass this week. If the golfer can not hit fairways and greens, that's a problem.
