ANALYSIS: Ahmad Bradshaw is going to require patience from his owners, patience and hope. It was pretty clear from the get go that Bradshaw would be worked in behind Frank Gore, allowing for the Colts to stay the path with their plan to keep Gore rested and on a “snap count” of sorts. While owners are going to want to wait and see that Bradshaw is going to be used enough to warrant plugging him into starting lineups, if you’re in a deeper PPR league he is absolutely worth the speculation. We've seen what he can do, and it's not like the guy is 40 years old. He had a bad injury leading into a contract year, and then had a one game suspension hanging over his head to start the year.

The Colts came out struggling against the Saints in their Week 7 matchup, and while Bradshaw only got two touches, he will start to rotate in more frequently and re-establish a rapport with Andrew Luck. By the time the Colts got anything going on Sunday, they were needing to throw it deep and couldn’t settle for check down routes. It’ll be interesting to see how Indianapolis attacks a strong Carolina front seven and if they try to get around them by throwing some screen passes and wheel routes. Soon enough Bradshaw will get more looks, and once he does he shouldn’t ever look back to these days of one or two targets. Week 8 brings a home matchup against Denver’s strong defense as well, so that should be another chance for Bradshaw to get some additional work. The kicker is going to be whether Chuck Pagano wants to wait until an easily matchup comes along to really mix things up and increase Bradshaw’s role. Time will tell, but it is coming.
