Zach Ertz Scores a Huge Touchdown in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz caught seven of his nine targets in the Super Bowl, gaining 67 yards and scoring a touchdown. Ertz continually gained enough yards to move the chains and eventually scored a huge 11-yard touchdown. Ertz is an unquestioned TE1 in fantasy, and a top-three player at his position along with […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoTorrey Smith Catches Five Passes in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith caught five of his nine targets in the Super Bowl, gaining 49 yards. Smith was disappointingly inconsistent this season, defining the boom-or-bust stereotype, without enough booms to justify the busts. If he remains in the same role next season, he won't be worth owning in the majority of formats.
David A Marcillo 7 years agoNelson Agholor Catches Nine Passes in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor was targeted 11 times in the Super Bowl, catching nine passes for 84 yards. He also ran the ball once for nine yards. He was clearly part of the game plan for the Eagles, and should remain the same for next season. Agholor had a slow start to his […]

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery caught three passes on eight targets in the Super Bowl, gaining 73 yards and scoring a touchdown. Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Corey Clement ran the ball three times for eight yards in the Super Bowl, adding four catches for 100 yards and a touchdown. Clement had three enormous plays through the air, including a touchdown that the NFL might have considered overturning. Clement was an undrafted rookie, but he showed plenty […]

David A Marcillo 7 years agoJay Ajayi Makes the Most of Limited Touches in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi ran the ball nine times for 57 yards in the Super Bowl. Ajayi had a 26-yard run in the second quarter, but was out-touched by a very effective LeGarrette Blount. Ajayi showed the ability to be a bell cow back, but couch Doug Pederson likes using a rotation in […]

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles won Super Bowl 52 MVP on Sunday, leading his team to a victory over the New England Patriots. Foles completed 28-of-43 passes for 373 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. The American League Central comes second in our series of 2018 Early Bullpen Outlooks. Check out the first of the series, on the American League East, right here. The AL Central doesn't have bullpens with anywhere near the firepower of the AL East, but there are still some solid arms that can contribute to fantasy […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoLa'el Collins Restructures His Contract With Cowboys
Dallas Cowboys offensive tackle La'el Collins had $150,000 of his 2018 salary converted into a signing bonus. He will receive that money immediately, but the team will be able to spread the cap hit evenly across the next two seasons. The move gives the Cowboys a little bit of help with the salary cap. Collins […]

St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Alex Reyes is already in Jupiter, Fla., getting a head start on spring training. The young right-hander is recovering from last year's Tommy John Surgery, and the team has set May 1 as a goal for having him back on the mound. What they have not yet set, though, is […]

The Philadelphia Eagles are fully healthy heading into the weekend of the Super Bowl. Several players missed practice earlier in the week or practiced but did […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoTorrey Smith Not a Safe Bet to Repeat His Last Performance
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Torrey Smith had a nice game the last time the Eagles played, totaling 69 yards. Most of that was on a 41-yard flea-flicker play, and Smith has only amassed 61 yards total in every other Nick Foles start combined. He's a boom-or-bust player without the huge boom upside to be worth […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoNelson Agholor Faces a Good Matchup in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Nelson Agholor has been trending downwards lately, but he has the best matchup of any Eagles pass catcher on Sunday for Super Bowl 52. Agholor was targeted 16 times in the first two games that Nick Foles started, but has since only been targeted 10 times, catching nine passes for 94 […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoAlshon Jeffery Will Face Yet Another Strong Cornerback in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery was no stranger to elite cornerback play this season, and he'll get to deal with it yet again in the Super Bowl this Sunday. Jeffery will face off against Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore for most of Sunday's snaps. While Jeffery did not record a single 100-yard game this season […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoZach Ertz Faces a Tough Matchup In Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Zach Ertz faces a tough matchup in the New England Patriots defense this Sunday in the Super Bowl. He is still Zach Ertz, though, and that always makes for a good option at tight end. The Patriots defense only allowed four tight ends to reach 50 yards this season, with 68 […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoCorey Clement Could Have a Sneakily Good Game in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles rookie running back Corey Clement could be a darkhorse for some nice production in the Super Bowl on Sunday. Clement has carved out a role as the team's third-down and passing-play back. If the Eagles were to fall behind early on Sunday, they would undoubtedly go all out in trying to get back […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoLeGarrette Blount Will Play a Specific Role in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles running back LeGarrette Blount will be playing a very specific role in the Super Bowl on Sunday. Since the emergence of Jay Ajayi as the feature back, Blount has taken on a goal-line/short-yardage role. He's very much set in that role, though, as Ajayi has only rushed once inside the five-yard line since […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoJay Ajayi a Good Choice at Running Back in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi is a strong choice at the running back position for Super Bowl 52 against the New England Patriots. The Eagles offense has relied heavily on Ajayi in the playoffs, and there's no reason to think that will change. Barring injury or a game that quickly gets away from the […]
David A Marcillo 7 years agoNick Foles Looking Like a Serviceable Quarterback Option in the Super Bowl
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles will certainly be the second best quarterback playing in the Super Bowl, but he should be a serviceable option this Sunday. Foles has had two huge games and two mediocre games since taking over for the injured Carson Wentz (knee). Foles threw seven touchdowns in 71 pass attempts in the two […]

Philadelphia Eagles running back Jay Ajayi (ankle) was limited in practice on Friday. Ajayi started out the week as a full participant on Wednesday, but then got in just limited work on Thursday and Friday.
