Boston Scott (RB, PHI) - Week 7 Waiver Wire Pickups

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 0% of Leagues

ANALYSIS: Philadelphia Eagles running back Boston Scott saw his first action with the team this past week, carrying the ball four times for 30 yards. While the team's No. 1 back Jordan Howard led the way with 13 carries, Scott had one more carry than rookie Miles Sanders, which is a promising sign for Scott going forward.

Howard and Sanders have split time in the backfield most of the season, with Howard getting more carries and Sanders being more active in the passing game. Scott entering the picture certainly complicates things even further. Scott's path towards more playing time relies on either injuries to one of the team's other backs or poor play from one of them. Sanders has struggled with fumbles so far this year, so that could keep him off the field if it continues.

Scott is worth putting on your radar in leagues of 14 or more teams. He isn't an instant add in those formats because Howard and Sanders are still blocking his playing time too much, but if Scott can carve out more of a role or one of the others goes down, he'll become well worthy of an add.
