Corey Dickerson had an extremely disappointing 2015 as plantar fasciitis derailed his season. He started out hot, hitting five home runs with a .329 average in March/April, but soon thereafter was being rested for his foot pain.
He kept trying to work back in until they shelved him for the entirety of August. When he returned in September he did well again, hitting five more home runs with a .282 average. There’s no question that when he has a bat in his hands he can do damage. The issue here is whether his foot can hold up for a whole season while playing outfielder, as well as the trade possibility shadowing each Colorado outfielder.
His current ADP of 76 according to NFBC data is risky, as he also walked less and struck out more in 2015 compared to 2014, but the upside of getting a 25 home run bat with a .310 average in the seventh round will be mighty tempting. If you've gotten safer guys with the rest of your draft, a dice roll on Dickerson could pay off handsomely. Do be aware that recent trade rumors are swirling that are tying him with the Tampa Bay Rays, but for now it's just talk.
