BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 20% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: He won’t be the most consistent option for fantasy owners, but he has a decent amount of upside in a Baltimore offense that doesn’t really have any dominant force on it. He turned in four receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' loss against the Jaguars in Week 10. While Gillmore is going to need to score to be valuable, this is true of most tight ends who aren't in the upper echelon of the position. With the loss of Steve Smith, it isn't only Aiken and Givens who benefit. Both Gillmore and Maxx Williams scored on Sunday. Flacco should know that he has good options at tight end, but Gillmore is still the guy you want to own over Williams.
The Ravens rushing attack hasn’t been anything to write home about, and Gillmore is the largest target that Flacco has. He has shown in the past that he isn’t afraid to loft up a jump ball to his big tight end (results may vary). Couple these things with a Ravens’ defense that has failed to intimidate anyone, and you get a stew that results in a pretty good setup for Gillmore to pan out on a weekly basis for owners.
