Willy Adames (SS, RHB, MIL) - 49% Rostered
Matchup: at NYM RHP Tylor Megill
Adames is slashing .293/.377/.544 with eight home runs and two stolen bases as a Brewer. In the last seven days, he's posted a .509 wOBA (9th) with three homers and one steal in 32 plate appearances. Adames has hit in the two or three-hole in the last seven games. He takes on Tylor Megill, who is coming off a strong outing (5 IP, 3 H, 3 ER, 2 BB, 8 K), but he won't pitch too deep into this game. Fire up the red-hot Adames.
Jace Peterson (1B/2B/3B/OF, LHB, MIL) - 28% Rostered
Matchup: at NYM RHP Tylor Megill
Peterson makes for a nice pairing with Adames, as the versatile player with positional flexibility has posted a .526 wOBA (8th) over the last seven days. During this stretch, Peterson has put up a 17.2 BB% with a 3.4 K%, showing some exceptional plate discipline. He's been a fixture in the six-spot for the Brewers, so he's in a decent spot for run production. Use Peterson in your Brewers stacks in DFS.
Andrew Vaughn (1B/OF, RHB, CHW) - 25% Rostered
Matchup: at MIN RHP Bailey Ober
Vaughn is starting to live up to his prospect pedigree, putting up a .488 wOBA (17th) with two home runs in the last seven days, spanning 25 plate appearances. Vaughn has hit in the four or six spot in the last four games, so he's in a good spot to put up some numbers. He has a good matchup against Bailey Ober, who has given up nine runs in his last two starts, spanning 7.2 innings.
Hitter Streamers for 7/5 - Deeper Leagues
Garrett Cooper (1B/OF, RHB, MIA) - 7% Rostered
Matchup: vs. LAD RHP Walker Buehler
Cooper has been tearing the cover off the ball lately, putting up a .533 wOBA (T-6th) with one home run in 16 plate appearances over the last seven days. He's hit in the three or four spot in each of his five games since returning from injury. While this is a tough matchup against Buehler, we have to ride with the hot-hitting Cooper, especially in DFS tournaments, where he's certain to come in at low ownership.
Michael A. Taylor (OF, RHB, KC) - 6% Rostered
Matchup: vs. CIN RHP Vladimir Gutierrez
Taylor has been swinging the bat well lately, going 7-for-18 (.389) with three runs, two homers, five RBI, and one stolen base in his last five games. He has a good matchup against Gutierrez, who has given up 14 runs and six homers in his last three starts, spanning 15.1 innings. Taylor can be a cheap piece of a Royals stack that will likely come in at low ownership in DFS.
Jose Iglesias (SS, RHB, LAA) - 4% Rostered
Matchup: vs. BOS LHP Martin Perez
Iglesias has put up a .509 wOBA (T-9th) with two home runs in 25 plate appearances in the last seven days. He has slashed .276/.313/.421 against lefties this season, so this is a good matchup against Perez, who has seen his ERA increase from 3.09 to 4.04 since June 8th. The lefty has allowed 28 hits in his last 17.1 IP. This is a good chance for Iglesias to keep the good times rolling.
Pitcher Streamers for 7/5 - Shallow Leagues
Rich Hill (LHP, TB) - 62% Rostered
Matchup: vs. CLE
Hill has fallen on tough times lately, putting up a 4.56 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in 25.2 innings during the month of June, but he has a chance to get it going against an Indians offense that has posted an 85 wRC+ against lefties (27th). Hill has been better at home this year as well, posting a 3.50 ERA and 1.05 WHIP with 16 walks and 55 strikeouts in 43.2 innings. He should be able to turn in a quality outing with strikeout upside against the Indians.
Pitcher Streamers for 7/5 - Deeper Leagues
Kolby Allard (LHP, TEX) - 17% Rostered
Matchup: vs. DET
Allard has been pretty solid as a starter, putting up a 3.66 ERA and 0.97 WHIP with five walks and 30 strikeouts in 32 innings. He has a great matchup at home, where he's posted a 3.14 ERA and 0.91 WHIP, against a Tigers offense that has put up an 84 wRC+ (T-28th) and 28.5 K% (30th) against lefties this season. Allard is also a great choice in DFS, especially as a cheap SP2 on DraftKings.
