Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (10/28/17): NBA Advice for FanDuel, DraftKings

With eight games on the slate, it's going to be easy for you to find options. Make sure you pick the players that have been consistently producing, and sleeper options you have confidence in. Ok, so you might not have confidence in a lot of sleepers picks today, but that's where I come in. You can steal all the extra confidence I have in my sleeper picks for yourself, I don't mind one bit. That being said, every single top priced option has a ery good matchup, so take your pick. I would advise LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, DeMarcus Cousins, in that order.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 10/27/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on FanDuel and DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, find me @HalfCourtJester on Twitter. Remember to check your lineups for last second scratches and updates.

Let's get rolling.

DFS Guards to Consider

Jrue Holiday - PG, CLE @ NO (DK - $6,900, FD - $7,400)

In his last few outings, Jrue Holiday has been able to be extremely productive without Anthony Davis. Even if Anthony Davis returns, Holiday has been able to find some type of groove on offense and needs to be played. His price is still a great value and after finding momentum last game, expect the Pelicans offense to work more through Holiday and Cousins, with Davis playing the supporting role until his name is called. Holiday has been able to find more success distributing his previous games so expect a returning Davis to help with that. The Pelicans offense still runs through three people, so all three will be giving the green light.

David Nwaba - SG, OKC @ CHI (DK - $3,500, FD - $4,000)

You might think this is some overreaction about David Nwaba, but it's not. His statline is no fluke because he is a hustle player that has a sense for scoring around the rim. He is an instinctual rebounder, meaning he tracks rebounds and immediately pushes the pace on offense. Whether he is getting the bucket, the assist, or just making the smart pass, Nwaba does it all. He usually does't contribute in assists, but with the reigns to a chaotic Bulls offense, the team is going to look to put the ball in his hands.

DFS Forwards to Consider

Dion Waiters - SG/SF, BOS @ MIA (DK - $5,600, FD $6,200)

The Boston Celtics have an athletic defense, but they are still looking for someone to lock down true scorers. This matchup is going to force the Heat to rely on their more consistent playmakers like Goran Dragic and Dion Waiters to generate offense. The Celtics have been iffy against shooters like Waiters, but most of that has been dependent on that specific player going cold from the field. The Celtics defense is going to be able to focus on the Heat backcourt, but there are not much defenders can do when they are stranded on Waiters Island. Expect him to explode this game.

Julius Randle - PF, LAL @ UTA (DK - $4,500, FD - $4,600)

The Lakers may not want to give Julius Randle the ball now that Lonzo Ball is on the team, but he is still the most productive player on the team. He tends to get a bit selfish with his playmaking, usually by trying to force passes, but his bench role has turned him into a stat stuffing monster. His last two performances, he had limited minutes but incredible production. Randle is going to produce no matter how many minutes he is given, and expect his stats go up as the Lakers to resort to him more and more as the season goes on. They may not want to, but denying Randle his opportunities only hurts the team.

DFS Centers to Consider

Kelly Olynyk - PF/C, - BOS @ MIA (DK - $5,400, FD - $5,500)

I am all about revenge games and Olynyk is able to score on anyone. His unconventional style makes him hard to defend, and his ability to score from the outside just makes him a more enticing option. Al Horford will be able to contain him, but Olynyk is still going to give him trouble on the inside. Olynyk is going to want to light up his former team so expect him to be looking to shoot early and often. Olynyk is still a smart player and knows when not to shoot, so his floor is still fairly high for his price.
