ANALYSIS:  Week 1 had it's fair share of injuries, with one major casualty being Andre Ellington. Ellington crumpled to the ground after attempting a small jump cut, and after this Chris Johnson came in and got the bulk of the work. This lead plenty of people to look at CJ2K as the fill in option, with questions surrounding whether David Johnson would rotate in on a healthy basis. It was then that David Johnson caught a screen pass from Carson Palmer and tore it down the sideline without being touched for a fifty five yard touchdown.

This is the reason that the Cardinals invested in David Johnson, and it is this reason that you should take David over Chris, for the upside. It should be a committee in Arizona while Ellington is out, but David Johnson has a lot more potential, as we've seen what Chris Johnson has left in the tank in recent years. Ellington apparently has a PCL injury, which for some athletes isn't a huge hindrance, but for others it can be a long recovery. It may be a while time before he sees the field again, and even then he seems to be extremely injury prone and could just get hurt again. Add David Johnson and see what comes of it.
