ANALYSIS: Johnson's role should be elevated in Week 6 with primary back Nick Chubb ruled out, which puts him in the mix as a deep-league desperation streaming option at running back this week. Johnson, an undrafted third-year player out of South Florida, hasn't had much opportunity this season (eight snaps, two carries for nine yards) or in his short career, but he did average over five yards per carry (in a limited sample) in 2019 and 2020. Kareem Hunt is going to command the majority of snaps and touches, but he'll need breathers and Johnson only has rookie Demetric Felton to compete with for touches behind Hunt. Felton has been impressive in his role, but he hasn't been trusted with a carry so far and it feels like he'll be the third-down/receiving back in this spot. Cleveland averages the most rushing attempts (35) and yards (187.6) per game while ranking first in rush DVOA, and we know two (or more) backs can provide huge value in this offense.
