NCAA Tournament DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for 3/15 - March Madness Daily Fantasy

CFB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

The field of 68 is set and the glory of the NCAA tournament is coming up quickly. We know you are involved in dozens if not hundreds of groups already, but if you would like to match wits with the RotoBaller writers, we have a group for you to join here.

The excitement begins on Tuesday both the NCAA tournament play-in games and the NIT getting underway. We start off in the NCAA Tournament with a Texas-sized battle of 16 seeds between Texas A&M Corpus Christi and Texas Southern. The NIT tips off 20 minutes later with Oklahoma taking on Missouri State. Cleveland State takes on Xavier and Alcorn State battles with Texas A&M at 8pm. We close it out with the last play-in game between Indiana and Wyoming. This is going to be a fun one!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/15/22 starting at 6:40 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings DFS Guards - NCAA Tournament

Xavier Johnson, Indiana ($7,800)

I keep my eyes peeled for a guy playing well heading into the tournament for the same reason that I target a team playing well to cut down the nets. The biggest players come up when the lights are the brightest. Hunter Maldonado still has the most upside, but Indiana plays good defense and he's freaking expensive. Johnson is $1,500 less and scored 109.5 DraftKings points in the Big Ten(14) tournament (not to mention the 48.75 he piled on Purdue in the regular season finale). Wyoming is a good team, but Johnson does everything well and doesn't usually wind up in foul trouble like Maldonado does.

Quenton Jackson, Texas A&M ($7,000)

Jackson is a big reason that the Aggies got to the SEC Championship, even though the loss to Tennessee sent them to the NIT. I can forgive Jackson's poor shooting against the Vols. Tennessee's defense is often underrated. They're a good team. I'm looking more at Jackson's performances in must-win games against Arkansas and Auburn. Prior to the Tennessee game, Jackson had at least 25 DraftKings points in eight straight with the Aggies winning six of those. He should get back on track against an overmatched Alcorn State team.

Jordan Goldwire, Oklahoma ($6,100)

Goldwire has topped 20 DraftKings points in five straight when the Sooners needed it most. His shooting was a bit off in the rough loss to Texas Tech, but he still scored in double digits for the fourth time in those five games. Goldwire's offensive output along with his great defense has been huge for an Oklahoma team that sometimes struggles to score. They shouldn't have an issue here and I expect Goldwire to be among the team leaders in scoring.

D'Moi Hodge, Cleveland State ($5,500)

Hodge was key in the Vikings' run in the Horizon League tournament. You can't blame the loss to Wright State in the final on Hodge. He scored 16 points on 7-of-15 shooting for 28.5 DraftKings points. He has topped 24 DraftKings points in four of the last five games. Xavier's defense is tough, but Hodge may be the best pure shooter for the Vikings. He's worth the risk at this price.

PJ Henry, Texas Southern ($4,100)

Henry came up big in the SWAC tournament with 66 DraftKings points in three games to push the Tigers into the NCAA Tournament. Henry's minutes have fluctuated at different times during the season, but I'll trust what we saw in the SWAC tourney. He is an efficient shooter and good rebounder. The Tigers will need that to advance to another game on Thursday.

Also consider: Isiaih Mosley, Missouri State ($8,500); Paul Scruggs, Xavier ($7,100); Tyrece Radford, Texas A&M ($6,800); Justin Thomas, Alcorn State ($6,000); Simeon Fryer, Texas A&M-CC ($5,700); Dominic Brewton, Alcorn State ($4,800); Dwon Odom, Xavier ($4,300); Marvin Johnson, Oklahoma ($4,300)

DraftKings DFS Forwards - NCAA Tournament

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($9,200)

This feels like the most competitive game on the slate, so it makes sense to go with the best player in said game. TJD went on a tear through the Big Ten(14) Tournament to land the Hoosiers as the last team in according to some publications. He scored 76 actual points in the three games which amounted to 133.75 DraftKings points. TJD had his ups and downs this season, but he is beasting at the right time.

Henry Coleman III, Texas A&M ($6,600)

Coleman is one of the more efficient shooters for the Aggies, even against the swarming Tennessee defense. The thing that has me moving towards Coleman here is he should have an advantage on the boards against Alcorn State. That should get Coleman back into competing for double-doubles on a nightly basis. The middle tier of forwards is a bit dangerous. We at least know what to expect from Coleman.

John Walker III, Texas Southern ($6,100)

The Tigers should have a bit of an advantage up front. Walker doesn't play a ton of minutes, but he does a lot in his limited time on the court. It caps his upside, but Walker has scored in double digits three times in the last five games despite only playing more than 20 minutes once. The good news is that Walker played his most minutes in the only close game for the Tigers in the SWAC tournament. If this game stays close – as it should – Walker should be in line for a nice game.

Jacob Groves, Oklahoma ($4,000)

Why pay for Tanner when Jacob has played at least as well? The ceiling is higher for Tanner, but the price difference gives us a little more wiggle room with our lineups. Forward is weak on this slate. The thing I like most about Jacob is that he only scored one actual point against Texas Tech in the semis of the Big 12(10) Tournament and he still almost hit value. He's a very low-risk play again an overmatched opponent.

Also consider: Jack Nunge, Xavier ($8,400); Isaac Mushila, Texas A&M-CC ($6,600); Race Thompson, Indiana ($6,400); De'Lazarus Keys, Texas A&M-CC ($5,800); Darrious Agnew, Alcorn State ($4,200)
