NCAA Tournament DraftKings DFS Lineup Picks for Final Four - March Madness Daily Fantasy Basketball (4/2/22)

Paolo Banchero daily college fantasy basketball CFB DFS picks March Madness

The field of teams is trimmed to four. The Final Four is full of blue bloods this year, seedings be damned. Then there's Villanova, who has become a blue blood under Jay Wright in this millennium. What's not to like?

We start off the Final Four with Kansas playing Villanova. We end it with one of the greatest rivalries college basketball has ever known in Duke and North Carolina. This is going to be a wild one. We just need to figure out which lower-owned pieces are going to come up big.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 4/2/22 starting at 6:00 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings DFS Guards - NCAA Tournament

RJ Davis, North Carolina ($6,600)

With Duke and Carolina tangling, we have some kind of barometer on how this might go. They played twice during the regular season with Carolina losing big once and the Heels pulling the upset in the regular season finale. Davis had a big game in that upset, scoring 21 points, pulling in five boards, and dishing out four assists. This is a small price to pay to see if Davis can do it again. The same is true with Caleb Love at just $200 less.

Remy Martin, Kansas ($6,200)

Martin's price is finally to the point where we have to think about using him. Even though he's not starting for Kansas, they are still going to need his defense and scoring off the bench. He has been the biggest X-factor of this year's tournament considering he was hurt or ineffective for much of the regular season. Martin is playing like he did last year for Arizona State right now. If he continues this, he'll be worth the price.

Caleb Daniels, Villanova ($5,700)

Daniels will have to take on more of a role with Justin Moore out. We could see more of Chris Arcidiacono, but he's much more of a GPP dart throw, even at minimum price. I'm going to roll with Daniels, who is playing big minutes anyway. I expect him to have to do a little more than usual in this game. He has at least 20 DraftKings points in every tournament game so far, so Daniels is a relatively low-risk investment.

Also consider: Ochai Agbaji, Kansas ($7,500); Collin Gillespie, Villanova ($6,500); Jeremy Roach, Duke ($5,300);  Dajuan Harris, Kansas ($3,800)

DraftKings DFS Forwards - NCAA Tournament

Paolo Banchero, Duke ($8,000)

Bacot has had an outstanding tournament, but right now I want the consistency of Banchero. He had two good games against the Heels, which is more than we can say for Bacot in the inverse. Bacot has a higher ceiling, but the $900 savings can make a huge difference in lineups on a slate like this. I'll take a sure 30 with a shot at 40 for my spend up piece.

Mark Williams, Duke ($7,400)

While the Tarheels have a decided advantage in the backcourt, the Duke frontcourt played well in both games against Carolina. Williams has been the driving force for Duke in the tournament, putting up 145.25 DraftKings points in the four games so far. I can make a strong case for Williams anchoring your lineup, and I will have one where he is the only spend up point. He's the best bet for a good floor right now.

Jermaine Samuels, Villanova ($6,100)

Samuels has had an outstanding tournament so far. He has 133.5 DraftKings points in the four games. We could see him take on even more of a role than he already has with Moore out. Even if he doesn't, Samuels is the best value on a slate that doesn't really have any. The kind of output that Samuels is giving at this price is the only freebie we have.

Eric Dixon, Villanova ($4,900)

Moore is going to leave a hole in the starting lineup, and my guess is that Villanova will fill it with a big going against the size of Kansas. Dixon has had a solid tournament so far despite coming off the bench. If he starts, look out! Villanova has better than a puncher's chance against the Jayhawks and are priced too low for what they are capable of almost across the board. I'll go with either Dixon or Brandon Slate, whoever starts. Dixon is the smart bet.

Also consider: Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($8,900); Brady Manek, North Carolina ($7,300); Jalen Wilson, Kansas ($6,700); AJ Griffin, Duke ($5,400)
