Tonight marks the start of what is certain to be an exciting NLDS, with the Braves facing the Dodgers and the Rockies taking on the Brewers. There's only one slate, of course, which covers Game 1 in both series and starts at 5:07 pm eastern.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings on 10/4/18 The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

DraftKings DFS Starting Pitchers
Hyun-Jin Ryu - P, vs ATL ($8,900)
In a surprising move to many, Ryu was given the Game 1 nod over Clayton Kershaw. If you look at Ryu's number this year, though, it's easy to see why the Dodgers are so confident in him. Ryu had an incredible season, posting a 1.97 ERA with a 2.45 Deserved Run Average through 15 starts. With a 27.5% K-rate and a 4.6% walk-rate, Ryu is the top starting pitcher option on Thursday.
Mike Foltynewicz - P, at LAD ($8,300)
It looks like the best strategy is to go chalk at SP with Ryu and Foltynewicz, rather than take a risk with Senzatela. Folty had an outstanding season of his own with a 3.37 FIP. While he's not the cheapest option, Foltynewicz doesn't have to deal with hitter-friendly Miller Park.
DraftKings DFS Infielders
Mike Moustakas - 3B, vs COL ($4,300)
Senzatela is the pitcher to target on tonight's slate, as he had a 4.38 ERA during the regular season with just a 17.7% K-rate. I love Moose at this price, as a guy with 28 homers who is now playing in one of the best power parks in baseball. He should see lots of RBI opportunities batting sixth for Milwaukee.
Freddie Freeman - 1B, at LAD ($4,400)
Even with Ryu pitching as well as he's been this year, there's a heck of a case to be made for Freeman. Freeman crushed lefties with an elite 146 wRC+ and is in an awesome spot to produce in the Braves three-hole. His price tag wouldn't be cheap on a normal slate, but he's affordable compared to other hitters.
Cody Bellinger - 1B/OF, vs ATL ($4,300)
He may not have lived up to expectations this year, but it's still clear that Bellinger has tons of power upside and is a great GPP play for his home run potential. He crushed righties to the tune of a 138 wRC+ in 2018.
DraftKings DFS Outfielders
Christian Yelich - OF, vs COL ($5,500)
No secrets here - the NL MVP favorite and fantasy monster Christian Yelich is the top hitter on Thursday's slate. If you can make room in your payroll, let him rock.
Charlie Blackmon - OF, at MIL ($4,900)
The Brewers are going with a bullpen game this afternoon, meaning that they'll be leveraging platoon splits to their advantage with their pitchers. That's why I like Blackmon in particular, as he can hit both righties and lefties well. I'd try to avoid Rockies with extreme platoon splits like David Dahl if possible.
