DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (12/18/17): NBA DFS Advice

If you are out of your fantasy football playoffs, snap out of it and divert that energy from the heartbreak and focus on fantasy hoops. With 10 games on tap and plenty of injuries, things are looking real interesting on Monday night. If you haven't played fantasy hoops or are thinking about it, there isn't a better time to start. Check out these picks to hopefully make your life easier.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/18/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options, and value plays on DraftKings.

Please feel free to follow me on Twitter @Den_Clausen. Let's get started!

DraftKings DFS Guards

Milos Teodosic - PG/SG, @ SAS ($4,900)

Keep an eye on Milos Teodosic for a few reasons. First, Doc Rivers have been taking it easy transitioning him into a full workload so make sure he doesn't end up getting rested. Second, he's playing the Spurs, a team that is allowing 41 points to opposing playmakers over their last five outings. Teodosic is a cheap play, especially since it isn't unreasonable for him to see just under 30 fantasy points, something he has done over his last two contests. His appeal skyrockets if Austin Rivers is still unable to go, so keep an eye on that situation as well.

Josh Richardson - SG/SF, @ ATL ($4,800)

Miami is hurting at the moment in the injury department and is in desperate need of offense from somewhere. With Dion Waiters struggling, Josh Richardson has stepped up to the plate and is coming off of a career-high 28 point performance against the Los Angeles Clippers. At only $4,800, you can't go wrong with such a generous asking price.

Michael Beasley - SF/PF, @ CHA ($4,600)

Just when it looked like Michael Beasley's career was over, he has reemerged in New York as a Knick and though he isn't the most consistent performer, he has stepped up when called upon. With the absence of Kristaps Porzingis against OKC, Beasley dropped 30 points, which helped the Knicks extend their current win streak to four games. If Porzingis sits once again, you have to consider him, especially with the team still missing Tim Hardaway Jr.

Other DFS Guards to Consider: Russell Westbrook - PG, vs. DEN ($11,200), James Harden - PG/SG, vs. UTA ($10,500), Ben Simmons - PG/SF, @ CHI ($9,600), Chris Paul - PG/SG, vs. UTA ($9,000), Kyrie Irving - PG, @ IND ($8,500), Klay Thompson - SG, @ LAL ($7,000), Courtney Lee - SG/SF, @ CHA ($5,800)

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Kelly Olynyk - PF/C, @ ATL ($5,000)

With the injuries to James Johnson and Hassan Whiteside, and the recent cold-streak of guard Dion Waiters, Kelly Olynyk should be in store for a hefty minutes load and is also currently (arguably) the number three offensive weapon in Miami behind Josh Richardson and Goran Dragic. He played well against the Clippers on Saturday and could see a solid outing against one of the worst teams in the league, the Atlanta Hawks.

Omri Casspi - SF/PF, @ LAL ($4,100)

Even though he's been on fire as of late, including accumulating nearly 40 fantasy points against Dallas, Omri Casspi is still generously priced despite Draymond Green still being unavailable with a shoulder injury. He is easily the third option in Golden State behind Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson, and should be worth a DFS roster spot on Monday night.

Other DFS Forwards to Consider: Kevin Durant - SF/PF, @ LAL ($11,600), LaMarcus Aldridge - PF/C @ vs. LAC ($8,200), Dario Saric - PF/C, @ CHI ($5,800), Jordan Bell - PF/C, @ LAL ($4,500), Richaun Holmes - PF/C  @ CHI ($4,100), Joe Johnson - SF/PF, @ HOU ($3,500)

DraftKings DFS Centers

Aron Baynes - C, @ IND ($4,100)

The Pacers have to be feeling a little sluggish after running around with the kids in Brooklyn on Sunday, getting on a plane and traveling back to Indiana. To make matters worse, they aren't playing a crappy team like Atlanta or Dallas, they will be going up against one of the best teams in the league, the Boston Celtics. Indiana has been playing atrocious against opposing big men this season, as evident by recent performances against Tyler Zeller, Andre Drummond and Steven Adams. At only $4,100, Aron Baynes would need a little over 20 points to hit the five times value mark, something that is easily attainable.

Ekpe Udoh - C, @ HOU ($3,700)

Keep an eye of Derrick Favors, who is currently listed as a gametime decision with a concussion. However, if he can't go, Ekpe Udoh should have a place in DFS rosters as he is a guy who is very cheap, and capable on exceeding his value by far. Though he likely won't duplicate the six block performance that he had against Clevaland on Saturday, he still will clean up the glass. Not the best option, but not the worst, especially if you are strapped for cash.

Other DFS Centers to Consider: Karl-Anthony Towns - C, vs. POR ($8,800), Al Horford - PF/C, vs. IND ($6,900), Jordan Mickey, PF/C, @ ATL ($3,200)
