Very solid seven game slate to kick off the week. Some of the biggest names on the board tonight and some really favorable match ups you want to look to exploit. Westbrook and Harden are both on the board, but I wanted to give you some different options rather than just say to play the two MVP candidates. So sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/20/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Kemba Walker - PG, vs ATL ($7,900)
The Hornets are only four games out of the playoffs, and with about a dozen games left, if they want a shot to make it, they needs wins. Leading that charge for them is Kemba Walker. He needs to elevate his play and carry the team like an elite point guard. Over his past five games, Walker has put up 29 points or LESS three times. So he has been struggling in his past five, but in the previous five games, he scored 44 points or more in all every game. A bit of up and down for him, but tonight is a chance for him to get back on track vs Atlanta who are giving up 48 points per game to point guards. The match and the desperation from the Hornets are the reason Walker is in play tonight. Currently, his usage rate is sitting at 30% which is highest on the team. I see him as a cash or tournament option for tonight.
J.J. Redick - SG, vs NY ($4,500)
Redick is a great value play for tonight, as he is most nights. He isn't one of the main few options on offense for the Clippers, but he sees his fair share of offensive looks, because they are a high scoring one. Redick has scored 21 points or more in four of his last five games. For a player that is only $4.5k, those are some good numbers and that also give you some salary savings. We all know he is a three point specialist, so he has a bit of upside since you 3.5 points per made three point on DraftKings. Redick will need 22 points to hit 5x value tonight, which should be relatively easy since they are up against the Knicks who give up 42 points per game to shooting guards which is fifth worst in the NBA.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Robert Covington - SF, @ ORL ($6,800)
Some of the top small forwards on the board tonight have tough match ups, so there is no reason to force players into your lineups. Covington is becoming more and more of a real option for the 76ers with the injuries they've had. He has scored in double digits of real points, eight times in his last ten games. That is super consistent for a player who wasn't considered their main option at the beginning of the season. But he is getting it done and doing it all: scoring, rebounding and assisting. You are getting a player who is filling the stat sheet for under $7k. He has scored 30 DraftKings points or more in six of his last ten games. He is facing off against the Magic who are giving up 41 points per game to small forwards.
Juancho Hernangomez - PF, @ HOU ($4,500)
Hernangomez has drawn the start over the past few games due to the injuries to Gallinari and Chandler, and he has done a nice job in that work. He has played 19 minutes or more in three straight games and that time on the floor has lead to three straight games of 18 DraftKings points or more. Some really good numbers from a player who was on the end of the bench for most of the year. At his price point, you only need 22 points for him to hit value. This is a rematch of the game from Saturday night vs the Rockets where he scored 25 points. So if he does the exact same thing, he is worth the roster spot. I see him playable for cash or GPPs, since he is cheap and will be seeing the court for a good amount of time.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Nikola Vucevic - C, vs PHI ($7,700)
Vucevic isn't in the conversation when it comes to elite centers in the NBA, but he has double double potential every single night, but he often goes over looked. He has scored 40 DraftKings points or more in seven of his last ten games. You heard that right. 40 points or more seven times, and he is under $8k. Not sure if you can get a more consistent player that isn't super expensive. He is up against the 76ers who are giving up 56 points per game to centers, which is worst in the league. His usage rate is 25.6% which is highest on the Magic. Vucevic is an auto lock for me tonight in all rosters. His consistency and his match up are just unbeatable.
Dwight Howard - C, @ CHA ($7,000)
Howard isn't someone I roster a lot, because I think he can be some what volatile on the court and seemingly always gets ejected when I play him. But there is no denying that he can still get it on the floor. He has scored 31 DraftKings points or more in nine of his last ten games. That is a great stretch for a player who has been doing this for over ten years. Howard is up against the Hornets who are giving up 50 points per game to centers. Great match up and great recent play make Howard very viable tonight.
