We have a six game slate for tonight, where there are some favorable match ups to look at. Some really nice value options out there since there are a number of players who are out due to injuries. I would strongly suggest taking a look at injury updates on twitter before lock, just to double check who is in or out for their game. So sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/28/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
T.J. McConnell – PG, @ BKN ($5,500)
McConnell is certainly one of the cheaper options on the board, but he comes with some salary savings and a bit of consistency. He has scored 23 points or more in three of his last four games and is looking to continue that. He is up against the Nets who are dead last in the league at guarding point guards, giving up 51 points per game. That is astoundingly bad, and exactly the type of match up you want to target. He is really only a cash game option since he doesn’t have that explosive factor you would need. Salary savings, a great match up, and recent consistency are the reasons for McConnell tonight.
Josh Richardson – SG, @ DET ($5,200)
With Dion Waiters out for a few games, Richardson has stepped into the starting role and is making the best of it. He has three straight games of 22 DraftKings points or more, and his salary isn’t adjusted yet. He probably isn’t going to go out and score 40 real points, but he could easily get 35 DraftKings points. His match up tonight isn’t the best since he is up against the Pistons who are top 5 in the league vs shooting guards. But the Pistons have been struggling lately, and for his price Richardson is a solid option.
Klay Thompson – SG, @ HOU ($7,500)
Thompson is generally always a good option any night he plays, and he is starting to heat up. He has hit five or more three pointers in three of his last four games. He went through a bit of a slump earlier in the year, but now he has his shot back. We all know that this game is going to have a super high over/under, and there will be plenty of points to go around. Both teams will be launching threes and having some shares of Klay will put you in a good spot.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Giannis Antetokounmpo – SF, @ CHA ($9,700)
The Greek Freak is truly one of the rising young stars in the league and he is going to be a stud for many years to come. If you are looking to build a GPP roster for tonight, he is worth a roster spot. He is up against Charlotte who are giving up 41 points per game to small forwards. Giannis has also scored 65 points or more in two of his last three games. That is exactly the type of production you want from one of your main studs. His price has also come down below the $10k mark, and he looks ever more valuable at this price point. Again, if you are going for a GPP build, take a look at him.
Ersan Ilyasova – PF, vs PHO ($6,000)
The Atlanta Hawks are in the midst of a seven game losing streak due in part to an injury to their big man Paul Millsap. They haven’t yet clinched a playoff spot and need to turn things around. With Millsap out, Ilyasova has been in the starting lineup and he is doing a good job. He has scored 21 points or more in five straight games as a starter. Ideally, that number would be a bit higher, but he is doing his part. At only $6k, you are getting a starter up against a weak defensive opponent. The Suns are giving up 48 points per game to power forwards. This is a spot where a team is desperate to win, and they are playing a bad defensive team.
Trevor Ariza – SF, vs GS ($5,600)
Now I know Ariza exploded last game for 50 DraftKings points and I doubt that will happen again. But he will be seeing more touches with the absence of Ryan Anderson. The last game is evidence of what can happen, but don’t expect that to be the result every night. Ariza is known to hit the three ball, and has good upside because of that. Also, the game will be high scoring, so this will get you some exposure to a fast paced offense.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Cody Zeller – C, vs MIL ($5,300)
Ah Cody Zeller. The player who, when I play him, he scores 10 fantasy points, and when I don’t play him, he has a double double. Oh the perils of daily fantasy. Nevertheless, he is in a god spot tonight vs the Bucks who are giving up 50 points per game to centers. Zeller has scored 30 points or more in three straight games. So he can either continue this hot streak, or burn me yet again. He has a bit of savings and a dash of consistency.
Brook Lopez – C, vs PHI ($6,900)
Lopez is sneaky one of the more consistent centers in the league, but being on the worst team doesn’t get you any exposure. He has scored 33 DraftKings points or more in eight of his last ten games. That is super strong and yet no one is talking about it. He is also up against Philly who are giving up 56 points per game to centers, which is dead last in the league. Great cash game option, since you know what your are going to get from him.
