We have a huge 12 game slate to kick off the week, and that means there is money to be won. Tons of great options at every position, and nearly every big name is in play tonight. Also some great game stack options out there if you are looking to soak up all the points in games with high totals. If you are a GPP player or not, tonight is the type of slate where I would look to take some chances, since there are just so many good options. So sit back, read up, and let's win some contests.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/6/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings.

DraftKings DFS Guards
Kemba Walker - PG, vs IND ($8,200)
Kemba is on the lower end of prices tonight when it comes to top tier point guards, and this a nice spot for him. He is up against the the Pacers who give up 46 points per game to point guards, and he is on quite a hot streak right now. He has scored 43 DraftKings points or more in four straight games, and seven of his last ten. He is scoring in bunches of late as he is trying to climb the Eastern conference standings to reach the eighth playoff seed. They are just three games back from the last spot and Walker is trying to lead his team to it. Right now, Walker's usage rate is sitting at 30.5%, which is good for highest on the team. The Hornets have been dealing with a few injuries, so that leaves more opportunity for Walker to not only hit, but exceed value. Great option for cash or tournaments tonight.
Will Barton - SG, vs SAC ($5,100)
Barton is a really solid role player for the Nuggets, who are surprising a few people this year, and are currently holding on to the last playoff seed in the West. A lot of the offense for the Nuggets runs through Jokic, but even with that said, they have seven players in their rotation who have usage rates over 20%. That can make it hard, since you're not sure which player will get the most looks on a given night. But with Barton's low price, you don't need a ton of production from him in order to hit value. Barton has scored 21 DraftKings points or more in nine of his last ten games. That might not be the highest number, but that is super consistent, and it comes with some salary savings. Barton is up against the Kings who are giving up 42 points per game to shooting guards. I see Barton as an easy lock tonight, his price, his consistency and his match up are all trending up.
Mike Conley - PG, vs BKN ($8,100)
Whenever the Brooklyn Nets are in action, you always want to targets players up against them. My beloved Nets are basically the Cleveland Browns of the NBA when it comes to defense. Lock players in, and forget about it. Conley has scored 41 DraftKings points or more in four straight games, and with this match up, he will be looking to do the same. The Nets are dead last in the league at guarding point guards, giving up a staggering, 52 points per game. Generally, Memphis is one of the slower paced teams in the league, but the Nets play so fast and loose, this could be a time to grab a few Grizzles and target a bad defense.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Robert Covington - SF, vs MIL ($7,000)
Some people are saying that a few of the 76ers are price too high and they can't hit value for you. So this is the type of spot you can go contrarian and roster one of these players. Covington is price up, but he has been putting up some solid numbers. In his last ten games, he has scored 30 DraftKings points or more eight times. He can step out and hit the three ball, he rebounds, and can steal the ball, he is a great play tonight. Side note, he has had two steals or more in seven of his last ten games. With the injury to Joel Embiid, Covington is averaging 0.99 fantasy points per minute. For a team with no true star, that is exactly what you are looking for from a role player. He is up against the Bucks who are giving up 43 points per game to small forwards. Everything is pointing in his direction for him to hit value tonight.
Karl-Anthony Towns, PF/C vs POR ($10,300)
Towns is truly one of the best young stars in the league, and he is having a great year to back up his rookie of the year award. Although Minnesota isn't as good as many expected them to be, they are an exciting young team to watch. Any time Towns is on the board, you at least have to give him a look. Towns has scored 53 DraftKings points ore more in four of his last six games. That is exactly the type of production you are looking for from a player in your GPP lineup. With so many games on the slate tonight, you will need to score around 300 points to min cash in tournaments, and Towns will give you a nice foundation of points to build on. Towns is up against the Trail Blazers who are giving up 48 points per game to power forwards. This is a great spot for him, and should only be used in GPP lineups.
Aaron Gordon - PF, vs NY ($5,500)
Gordon has been starting at the power forward spot lately, and the results seem to be paying off for the Magic. Gordon has scored 27 DraftKings points or more in three of his last four games. At only $5,500, if he can hit that recent game average, he will be worth the roster spot. Don't need a ton of production from him, and he is relativity safe. The Magic are no where near the playoffs, but they can still put up a fight on a nightly basis. Gordon is up against the Knicks who are giving up 48 points per game to power forwards.
DraftKings DFS Centers
Andre Drummond - C, vs CHI ($8,000)
Drummond isn't one of the big name centers in the league and surely doesn't get the limelight that other players get, but he is super consistent and a great option for daily fantasy players. Over his last ten games, Drummond has put up nine double doubles. That is exactly what you want to look for when it comes to picking a center. Rebounds get extra points, so having someone that is always going to pull down at least 10 boards is amazing. He is up against the Bulls who are good on defense vs centers, only giving up 47 points per game, which is sixth best in the league. Even with a tough match up, his nine double doubles in his last ten games, shows he is getting it done regardless of match up. Drummond's usage rate sits at 24.7% which is second highest on the team for starters, and he is averaging 1.26 fantasy points per minute.
Tristan Thompson - C, vs MIA ($5,000)
For a cheaper option at center tonight I would look at Tristan Thompon. He isn't the most gifted offensive player, but he gets in done on the glass and has his fair share of easy put backs. He has scored 20 DraftKings points or more in nine of his lat ten games. Thompson is mostly the benefit of having LeBron and Kyrie on the same team, but he can still get it done and provide value for you. On a night where there are so many good options, you might want to spend down and go for a bit of safety so you can have the salary to roster a few of the bigger name point guards.
