We have an eight-game slate to kick off our NBA week and there are some great options at every position. You can go stars and scrubs build, you can go balanced tonight, there are soo many options across the board it should be a fun night to build lineups.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 12/17/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on DraftKings.
You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. As always, don't set your lineups to early and check player statuses prior to opening tip. Give me a follow on Twitter @DFS_Tom with questions or comments. Good luck everyone.
DraftKings DFS Guards
Derrick Rose - PG, MIN vs SAC (DK - $6,300)
Rose and the Timberwolves are up against the Kings in what should be a fantastic environment for fantasy points as the over-under is set at 232 points, which is one of the highest totals on the slate. He comes in with 31 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, along with playing 33 minutes or more in each of those games. We all know that minutes equals money in the NBA, so you want the player who will be on the court the most in a high-scoring game, along with Rose not being super expensive.
Reggie Bullock - SG, DET vs MIL (DK - $3,900)
Bullock is very cheap tonight and returned to the starting lineup the other night where he posted 20 DraftKings points in 30 minutes. Yes, that is under one fantasy pointe per minute clearly, but he is under $4K, so we don't need massive production from him. The matchup is certainly favorable tonight, as he is up against the Bucks, who are giving up 44 DraftKings points per game to shooting guards this season, which is third worst in the league.
DraftKings DFS Forwards
Tobias Harris - SF, LAC vs POR (DK - $7,200)
Harris has one of the best matchups on the slate, as he is up against the Trail Blazers, who are giving up 44 DraftKings points per game to small forwards, which is second worst in the league. Harris comes in with a 25.7% usage rate along with producing 1.05 fantasy points per minute this season. Love to see that Harris has taken 14 or more field goal attempts in nine of his last 10 games, showing that the ball is in his hands a ton, giving him massive upside from scoring. He always has a bit of double-double upside, which can make him very interesting in tournaments tonight.
Nemanja Bjelica - PF, SAC @ MIN (DK - $4,400)
With Marvin Bagley going out with an injury for the Kings, Bjelica could be seeing a few extra minutes in the coming games, so we want to jump on him now before his price rises. He has 25 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four games, which has him exceeding 5x fantasy value in each of those games. We are dealing with a super high over-under set at 232 points, so there will be plenty of opportunities for him to shoot the ball, especially from deep, as he has 14 three-point attempts in his last two games.
DraftKings DFS Center
Steven Adams - C, OKC vs OKC (DK - $6,900)
The Bulls are a great team to attack this season because they are doing this unique thing this season where they don't play defense. Really hasn't worked out for them thus far, but rostering players against them in DFS, always pays off. The Bulls are giving up 62 DraftKings points per game to centers this season, which is third worst in the league this season. This puts Adams, who has posted 32 DraftKings points or more in seven of his last eight games, in a fantastic spot. Great price on him and a fantastic matchup you want to attack tonight.
