Welcome back to another edition of the FREE DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks. As customary, we have an all-day ledger on tap Wednesday, and although DraftKings does not have a full-day slate, FanDuel does. Consequently, today's article will feature picks on both sites for games throughout the day, as even on DK, the suggestions will prove viable for someone playing one of the site's split slates.
There's another strong quartet of pitchers on today's slate, leading to four suggestions overall at the position. There's also a good amount of targetable arms taking the hill, so putting together an array of bats that there's plenty of reason to be optimistic about was a fairly straightforward process as well.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel and DraftKings on 7/6/2022 that includes a FanDuel main slate locking at 1:10 pm ET. The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports. It's also essential to monitor injury news and today's MLB starting lineups. If you have any questions or comments, find me on Twitter and ask away!

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Corbin Burnes -P, MIL vs. CHC ($10,500 DK, $11,200 FD)
Burnes has pitched to a 4-1 mark, 2.03 ERA, 0.90 WHIP, and 11.6 K/9 across his last five starts, and he's holding both handednesses of hitters to well under a .200 average. The dominant right-hander also stymied the Cubs over seven innings in his last meeting with them on May 1st, recording 10 strikeouts. Chicago has been productive over the last month against right-handers on the road with a .760 OPS and .333 wOBA, but Burnes owns a .190 average and .273 wOBA across 49.1 home frames, and he already has six starts with double-digit strikeouts, five of them having come at American Family Field.
Shane Bieber - P, CLE at DET ($9,100 DK, $10,100 FD)
Bieber comes into Wednesday's turn with four straight quality starts, and he's pitched to a 2.62 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 9.9 K/9, and 0.6 HR/9 across the 58.1 innings covering his last nine starts. Within that sample are back-to-back starts against this same Tigers team where he generated a 1-1 record, 1.80 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and 15:2 K:BB. The right-hander has also been at his best on the road, where he's posted a 2.51 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 0.9 HR/9, and .294 wOBA. Meanwhile, Detroit has just a .279 wOBA and -10.2 wRAA at home against right-handed pitching over the last month, and current Tigers bats own a paltry .152/.205/.229 collective slash line against him in 162 career plate appearances.
Other options: Max Fried - P, ATL vs. STL ($9,900 DK, $10,400 FD); Luis Severino, NYY at PIT ($9,100 DK, $9,500 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Freddie Freeman - 1B, LAD vs. Jose Urena ($5,000 DK, $4,200 FD)
Freeman went into Tuesday night's action with a .302/.384/.492 slash line, figures that he's arrived at thanks to a torrid 16-game stretch where he's posted a 1.108 OPS, 10 XBH, and 16 RBI. The left-handed slugger has been lethal against right-handed pitching at home as well, furnishing a .337 average, .414 wOBA, and 170 wRC+, plus a 25.3 percent line-drive rate, in that split. Meanwhile, Urena is allowing a career-high 10.7 percent barrel rate, and his .270 xBA, .576 xSLG, .399 xwOBA, and 6.31 xERA all betray his much more respectable surface numbers. Finally, consider Urena is already allowing a .308 average and .413 wOBA to lefty bats, and he's given up .325 and .399 figures in those respective categories to left-handed hitters over the course of his career.
Jose Altuve - 2B, HOU vs. Brad Keller ($5,600 DK, $4,300 FD)
Altuve heads into Wednesday's contest with a stellar .892 OPS, and he's tormented right-handed pitching at home for a .310 average, .386 wOBA, and 159 wRC+. Keller has a .278 xBA and .337 xwOBA overall, and his atrocious 3.4 K/9 against righty bats on the road is just asking for trouble. Keller is already giving up a .264 batting average to right-handed hitters when traveling, and he happens to draw a very bad matchup in Altuve when it comes to two of his three top pitches, the four-seam fastball and sinker. Altuve boasts .518 and .404 wOBAs against those pitches, strengthening his already strong case after he put together a .325 average and 1.099 OPS over the 11 games heading into Tuesday night's action.
Andres Gimenez - SS, CLE at Michael Pineda ($4,000 DK, $2,700 FD)
Gimenez makes for an excellent left-handed foil for Pineda, who's allowed a .296 average, .374 wOBA, 2.7 HR/9, 6.64 FIP, and 40.4 percent hard-contact rate to lefty bats. Gimenez went into Tuesday night's action with a .300 average and .839 OPS, and he's pounded right-handed pitching for a .319 average, .933 OPS, .396 wOBA, and 163 wRC+ on the road. The hot-hitting infielder has a massive 29.2 percent line-drive rate versus righties on the road as well, while Pineda's .319 xBA, .608 xSLG, .398 xwOBA, and 6.27 xERA all underscore how ripe his 3.62 ERA and 1.13 WHIP are for some serious regression.
Yandy Diaz- 3B, TB at Brayan Bello ($4,000 DK, $3,000 FD)
Diaz is a solid right-handed bat to deploy against Bello in his first MLB start. The rookie has been very impressive at both the Double-A and Triple-A levels already this season, but Diaz checks in with an excellent .290 average and .405 OBP following a 3-for-4 night Tuesday. The burly infielder went into Tuesday's action already sporting a .292 average, .742 OPS, and .338 wOBA against right-handed pitching on the road, as well as a .421 average and .433 wOBA over 22 July plate appearances before his aforementioned success Tuesday.
Other options: Pete Alonso, NYM at Graham Ashcraft ($5,800 DK, $3,700 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Adolis Garcia - OF, TEX at Spenser Watkins ($4,900 DK, $3,900 FD)
Garcia had a rough 0-for-5, three-strikeout night Tuesday, but he's impressively laced 34 of his 75 hits for extra bases and had a .274 average, .348 wOBA, .237 ISO, 26.8 percent line-drive rate, and 39.0 percent hard-contact rate versus right-handed pitching. Watkins has been particularly taken to task by right-handed bats at home as well, yielding a .333 average, .445 wOBA, 1.7 HR/9, and 6.80 xFIP in that split. The right-hander is sporting a .296 xBA, .390 xwOBA, and 5.97 xERA as well, and his abysmal 12.6 percent strikeout rate could certainly spell trouble against a hitter the caliber of Garcia.
Trey Mancini - OF, BAL vs. Glenn Otto ($4,000 DK, $3,000 FD)
Mancini posted a 2-for-4 night Tuesday that pushed his season slash line to an impressive .281/.357/.428. The veteran could be in for another productive night against Otto, who's allowed a .298 average, .387 wOBA, 1.68 WHIP, and 5.40 xFIP to right-handed hitters. Mancini boasts a .294/.365/.482 slash line and .365 wOBA versus righties at home as well, and he's also been a very effective hitter against Otto's top two pitches, the sinker (.312 average, .360 wOBA) and the four-seam fastball (.313 average .426 wOBA).
Taylor Ward - OF, LAA at Trevor Rogers ($4,300 DK, $3,500 FD)
Rogers has experienced some significant regression this season, carrying a .276 xBA and .357 xwOBA into Wednesday's start. What's more, Rogers has seen a major drop in strikeout rate from last season's 28.5 percent to a 20.1 percent figure thus far this season, and his walk rate is also sitting at a career-high 11.0 percent. The southpaw's vulnerabilities dovetail perfectly for fantasy purposes with Ward's offensive profile, as the stellar outfielder entered Tuesday night's action with a .409 wOBA and 13.3 percent walk rate overall, and a .433 wOBA, .259 ISO, and 189 wRC+ versus left-handed pitching. Additionally, Rogers has been decimated by righty bats at home, giving up a .337 average, .434 wOBA, and 2.9 HR/9 in that split.
Other options: Aaron Judge - OF, NYY at Mitch Keller ($6,100 DK, $4,000 FD)
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
- Yankees at Mitch Keller, PIT, RHP
- Mets at Graham Ashcraft, CIN, RHP
