Happy Friday RotoBallers! Welcome to a playoff edition of the Friday night top plays. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, with rotations getting shortened and the slate being so small, there probably isn't going to be a ton of leverage to be found, so consider these suggestions GPP viable as well (some exceptions may apply).
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/13/22. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.
As always, feel free to follow my Twitter (@Maxadelphia), to keep up to date with NBA news and for my nightly NBA bets if you're into that sort of thing. Let's go!
DraftKings and FanDuel Guards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Stephen Curry - PG, GS vs MEM ($9,200 DK, $9,400 FD)
Steph has caused quite a stir with all of his comments during this series, and after the Warriors got destroyed by the Grizzlies in Game 5 I expect him to come out guns a-blazing in Game 6. After only playing 25 minutes in the blowout, I'm willing to bet on the Warriors coming out fresh and hungry to close out this series in front of their home crowd.
Tyus Jones - PG, MEM @ GS ($5,700 DK, $7,200 FD)
Naturally, most Grizzlies recommendations will stem from Ja Morant's absence. When a star is out, sometimes it's best to keep it simple and just play the next man up. Jones has had plenty of starting opportunities this year with Morant missing 25 games in the regular season, and in Game 5 he exploded for 46.25 points in only 24(!) minutes. I would expect Jones to be one of the highest owned players on the slate, but at $5,700 it still feels too cheap to pass up.
Derrick White - PG/SG, BOS @ MIL ($4,000 DK, $5,000 FD)
White has played 32+ minutes in each of the last two games, which is a much higher number than through the first three games of this series (21.5 minutes per game average). In his last two games he's provided 6x value in each, and at his current price, he projects as a solid value play.
Others to consider: Jrue Holiday ($7,900 DK, $9,000 FD), Jordan Poole ($6,700 DK, $6,000 FD)

DraftKings and FanDuel Forwards - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Giannis Antetokounmpo - PF/C, MIL vs BOS ($11,900 DK, $12,000 FD)
The ultimate alpha role is what Giannis and his outlandish pricing brings on this Friday. The Greek Freak is $2,100 more than any other active player on the slate, but this hefty price tag is completely warranted in his current form. With 3 straight 60+ point fantasy games, and averaging 63.5 fantasy points per game in the series Giannis has the highest floor and the highest ceiling on the slate.
Jayson Tatum - SF/PF, BOS @ MIL ($9,800 DK, $10,600 FD)
Tatum has been a usage machine in this series; he's attempted no less than 18 shots in a single game, and in his last two games he's taken 53 total shots with back-to-back 50+ point fantasy games. Tatum hasn't necessarily been efficient, but when a guy plays 42 minutes and takes 25 shots it's hard to ignore no matter the price.
Kyle Anderson - SF/PF, MEM @ GS ($4,300 DK, $4,700 FD)
Anderson is another Grizzlies player who is trying to fill the void left by Morant. In the two games Morant hasn't played, Anderson has scored 36 and 28 fantasy points, and has been the Grizzlies' best bench option. If the Grizzlies want to survive another day, it will be all hands on deck.
Others to consider: Klay Thompson ($7,100 DK, $6,200 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Al Horford - PF/C, BOS @ MIL ($7,200 DK, $7,600 FD)
Horford has turned back the clock these playoffs and has played at a high level on both ends of the floor (even while dealing with Giannis). Horford scored 48.5 and 57 fantasy points in Games 3 & 4 in Milwaukee, and he might need to do something similarly spectacular to keep the Celtics' season alive.
Steven Adams - C, MEM @ GS ($4,500 DK, $5,400 FD)
Adams has brought the Grizzlies some much-needed interior defense in the last two games, grabbing 15 rebounds in Game 4 and 13 rebounds in Game 5. This has led to two straight games with 27+ fantasy points, and Adams figures to see a similar workload tonight. Adams will always be the biggest guy on the floor when he's out there, and that should provide him with a safe enough floor.
Others to consider: Jaren Jackson Jr. ($7,000 DK, $7,900 FD)
