Happy Friday RotoBallers! Welcome to a playoff showdown edition of the Friday night top plays. These articles focus on the overall best plays, which are typically more suited for cash games. However, with rotations getting shortened and the slate being so small, there probably isn't going to be a ton of leverage to be found, so consider these suggestions GPP viable as well (some exceptions may apply).
This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/27/22. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome new NBA injuries report tool as the slate can completely change before lineups lock.

DraftKings and FanDuel Captains/MVP - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Jayson Tatum - SF/PF, BOS ($16,500 DK, $16,000 FD)
Tatum remains the ultimate double-edged sword in terms of fantasy; extremely high usage with extremely low efficiency. Coming off his most complete game of the series in Game 5, posting 22/12/9, Tatum is an obvious choice for the captain/MVP spot.
Jimmy Butler - SF/PF, MIA ($15,300 DK, $15,000 FD)
At times, it seems like Butler is the only player capable of scoring for Miami. After two excellent performances to start the series, Butler's performance has really fallen off the last three games. If Tyler Herro is once again unable to play tonight, the burden on Butler to lead Miami's offense will be enormous facing elimination.
Others to consider: Jaylen Brown ($14,700 DK, $14,000 FD),

DraftKings and FanDuel Utility Plays - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Al Horford - PF/C, BOS ($8,200 DK, $13,000 FD)
Horford has been a revelation for the Celtics this playoffs. With impactful performances seemingly every game, Horford is averaging just under 36 fantasy points per game in his four games played this series. He doesn't have the volume needed to be considered for captaincy, but he can find points in all 5 categories which provides him a nice floor to work with.
Bam Adebayo - C, MIA ($8,000 DK, $12,500 FD)
Believe it or not, Adebayo owns the highest single-game fantasy score in this series; his 63.5 point explosion in Game 3 (which was also in Boston). With the Heat struggling for offense in Game 5, Adebayo once again got more involved, but it ultimately wasn't enough. In Game 3 the Miami offense seemed to be focused on getting Adebayo involved, and with the Heat facing elimination on the road, I expect Erik Spolestra to live and die by his best players.
Others to consider: Victor Oladipo ($5,200 DK, $10,000 FD)
DraftKings and FanDuel Value Plays - NBA DFS Lineup Picks
Payton Pritchard - PG, BOS ($3,600 DK, $7,500 FD)
Duncan Robinson - SF/PF , MIA ($3,000 DK, $7,500 FD)
Both of these guys become borderline must-plays, depending on the injury status of the guys they typically back up; Marcus Smart and Tyler Herro. Robinson is definitely the more interesting play of the two for me. With Herro out the last two games, Robinson has seen legitimate playtime in Miami's hunt for scoring. If neither of the aforementioned players plays, Pritchard is more likely to have a role players' role (as redundant as that may sound), compared to Robinson who could very well attempt another 10 3's if Herro sits again.
