BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 14% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: The news came in that Victor Cruz will officially not play in 2015, as he will undergo season ending surgery. This means that Dwayne Harris is locked in for the rest of the year as the Giants' slot man. Harris has put up fantasy point totals in the double digits in three of the past four games, and this is near impossible to ignore. Harris saw nine targets in Sunday’s game against the Patriots, catching six of them for 92 yards and a touchdown. It doesn't hurt anyone that he also has that outside chance at getting you a return touchdown as well.
Harris has shown a lot of improvement as the year has gone on. Notably raw with route running and seeing some key drops early in the year, he has performed much better as of late and is clearly establishing some great chemistry with Eli Manning. As with Manning, Harris does have the aura of inconsistency to him. Weeks 6, 7, and 9 were not particular noteworthy as a receiver, with a combined 6.2 points from those contests in standard leagues. Week 6 did show that ability for Harris to float his value with a return touchdown though. Look for Harris to continue to get some great targets in the Giants' offense, especially with their running game not generating anything noteworthy moving forward, but know that he could hit you with a dud. He’s available in over five out of six leagues though, and his production warrants higher ownership than that.
