Welcome to the weekend RotoBallers. Today is another beautiful Saturday comprised of a full slate of baseball. FanDuel has these 15 games broken down into six early games starting at 1:05 ET and a nine game main slate starting at 7:05 ET. I myself will be on the links during the early games but will throw a couple of you early birds some worms, while mainly focusing on the main slate. The weather looks fantastic, aside from the HOU-NYY game at Yankee Stadium, which will certainly have several rain delays at best. If you are playing early/all-day, this is one that you will unfortunately need to fade.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/13/17. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options, and of course, value plays.
Let's get rowdy.

Offensive Stacks
San Diego Padres against Dylan Covey
The Padres aren't usually an enticing stack, as they rank near the bottom of most team offensive rankings. But today the match-up is too enticing to pass up. Away from Petco this season, they have seen an expected boost in their run production, and are squaring up against the leagues third-worst SIERA in the form of Dylan Covey. Covey is the not-so-proud owner of an 8.78 ERA and 1.79 WHIP. The dude gave up six earned runs to the Royals...the Royals! I like the top four RHP-hitting bats for the Pads today: Wil Myers, Ryan Schimpf, Manuel Margot, and Yangervis Solarte, all of which are very reasonably priced.
Arizona Diamondbacks against Trevor Williams
I already feel bad for Trevor Williams and the game hasn't even started yet. No team has scored more runs at home this season than the Dbacks, as Chase Field has become it's own version of Coors. Williams enters the contest with a 7.98 ERA and a 1.84 WHIP and gave up six ER in only three innings in his last start against the Dodgers. What makes this the best stack of the day is the fact that Paul Goldschmidt is the only Arizona hitter that costs more than $4,000 on FanDuel. There is literally value seeping out of this lineup. Add Jake Lamb, A.J. Pollock, and David Peralta to Goldy and you got yourself a winning lineup. You could even pivot to Yasmany Tomas, Brandon Drury, or Chris Owings. It doesn't matter. THERE ARE NO RULES!

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Chris Sale vs TBR ($11,800)
If you are playing cash in the early or all-day slate, there really is no need to look anywhere other than Chris Sale. Among starting pitchers, this man owns the second highest K/9, the lowest FIP, and a K/BB that falls directly behind Clayton Kershaw. He has been absolutely filthy in the Red Sox uniform. Today he faces the offense that owns the most strikeouts against southpaws in the entire league. Out of the entire Rays lineup, a Rickie Weeks double is the only extra base hit any player owns off Sale for their careers. This could be one of the highest scoring outputs from a pitcher this season.
Trevor Cahill at CWS ($8,100)
Blue light special! I love Trevor Cahill today for any contest within the main slate. Cahill has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners in 2017, amassing an 11.21 K9 along with a sexy 2,80 FIP over 35 1/3 innings. In his last start, he shutout the Rangers for 5 1/3 while striking out seven. The White Sox offense owns the lowest OPS against righties in the entire league, and as we just learned, have little-to-no shot at a win today with Covey on the mound. Cahill's one issue this year has been the free passes, as he owns a 4.09 BB/9, which has severely effected his ability to go deep enough into games to earn quality starts. But considering the extremely low on-base abilities of this offense, that should not be the case today. Unfortunately Cahill will be so chalky today, your kids can write on your driveway with him. So plan accordingly when building GPP lineups.

FanDuel DFS Infielders
James McCann - C, at LAA ($2,500)
I hate paying up for catchers. That is why I won't be using Buster Posey or Yasmani Grandal today. But James McCann and his lowly price tag fits in perfectly. Over the last seven days, he owns a 1.091 OPS and has two HR and a double in his last three games. Obviously I would prefer a LHP match-up, but three of his seven HR in 2017 have come off RHP and Ricky Nolasco is not one I will shy away from...ever.
Also Consider: Salvador Perez- C, vs BAL ($3,400)
Ryon Healy- 1B, at TEX ($3,100)
Who owns the league's highest Hard hit percentage over the last seven days? You guessed it, Ryon Healy at 68.8%. Yesterday Andrew Cashner continued his black magic and avoided any damage, but Nick Martinez shouldn't get as lucky today. Martinez has recorded just 14 strikeouts in 24 1/3 innings in 2017, meaning Healy will get plenty of chances to put that hard hit percentage into play. There is also the fact that yesterday Healy hit out of the two hole for the Athletics, which would only increase his value even more if it holds true again today.
Also Consider: Miguel Cabrera - 1B, at LAA ($3,900)
Brandon Drury- 2B, vs PIT ($3,100)
I told you these Diamondbacks prices were great today. Not only is Drury facing a terrible pitcher, but he is hitting in Chase Field where he owns a 1.163 OPS this season.
Also Consider: Rougned Odor - 2B, vs OAK ($3,100)
Eugenio Suarez- 3B, at SFG ($3,300)
I don't think any offense in the league has made me more dough on Fanduel this season than the Cincinnati Reds. I just love their potency that comes with consistent low prices. Suarez has been no exception, as he has hit .308 with seven HR and two SB in 2017. Today he faces Matt Moore, which launches Suarez up my board considering he has mashed LHP to the tune of a 1.014 OPS.
Also Consider: Joey Gallo- 3B vs OAK ($3,400)
Zack Cozart - SS, at SFG ($3,400)
Take everything I said about Suarez and double it. Now you are experiencing my DFS love for Cozart this season. We are two weeks into May and this guy is still hitting over .350! Where is the love? He has been even better than Suarez against southpaws, posting an impressive 1.119 OPS. These two can make for a nice little mini-stack to help you afford the big Arizona bats like Goldy and Pollock.
Also Consider: Elvis Andrus - SS, vs OAK ($2,900)
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Denard Span- OF, vs CIN ($3,000)
I don't know what Span did in the weight room while he was on the disabled list, but he has come back swinging a powerful stick. He has hit a HR in both of his games since coming off the shelf, and faces a man today that you have probably never heard of in Lisalverto Bonilla. Ride this once in a lifetime Span power streak while you still can.
David Peralta - OF, vs PIT ($3,000)
Peralta is my favorite play for the second night in a row. Not only does he handle RHP with the best of them, he too owns an OPS over 1.000 at Chase Field this season. If you somehow manage to shy away from using all other Diamondbacks today, you at least need Peralta in your lineups. He is a must-own.
Scott Van Slyke- OF, at COL ($3,100)
With all the goodness available in the PIT-ARI game today, I find myself not willing to pay any of the prices for the game in Coors, except Van Slyke. He is a renown lefty destroyer, facing Tyler Anderson who has struggled mightily at times this season. It is always smart to have at least one share of a Coors pie, and tonight Van Slyke makes it very feasible. He already has a monster jack in this series, and tonight should make it two.
Also Consider: Keon Broxton - OF, vs MIL ($3,100)
