FanDuel Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (4/28/18): NBA DFS Lineups

There are two games tonight. One will be the ending of a great series, the other could be the start of something incredible. Either way, narratives will be set tonight and Anthony Davis is going to have a good game. You might as well start of your lineup creation will a healthy dose of value to get you started so you can roster Mr. Davis without wasting ALL of your budget.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/28/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for sites like DraftKings. Come find me in the Hoops Chat Room, on Xbox playing Fortnite or getting annoyed at the fact I even have a Twitter @HalfCourtJester.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Jrue Holiday - PG, @ GSW ($7,800)

Since Stephen Curry's return seems imminent, you have to play whoever could be lining up across from him. If Klay Thompson is guarding Holiday, the Pelicans as a whole will suffer. Rajon Rondo might have the most upside, assuming Thompson is tasked with guarding Holiday, but it won't change both guards from generating enough offense. His hot streak may not be as blazing as it was against the Trail Blazers, but he'll still get to the rim because he is an oversized point guard going against a backcourt that prefers contesting shots rather than limiting facilitation, giving Holiday upside.

Malcolm Brogdon - SG, @ BOS ($4,300)

The playoffs have been good to Malcolm Brogdon, but this will be a serious test. Along with all the other Milwaukee players, he NEEDS to produce tonight. This puts a type of pressure that no player enjoys, but handle differently. Depending on the player, they react to pressure, and intense pressure situations with varying degrees. Brogdon has performed in the clutch previously and his age gives him a better mindset going into the game. He's an second-year player the experience of a veteran although his production is not yet that consistent. He scored over 15 twice already this series and scored in double-digits four out of the six games so far.

Other FanDuel DFS Guards to Consider: Quinn Cook - PG, vs. NOP ($3,500)

FanDuel DFS Forward

E'Twuan Moore - SF, @ GSW ($4,400)

I know this will be the fourth Pelican I've mentioned out of the the five players I've brought up, but what can you expect when there are only two games. You can either stack a game, or semi-stack a game. So you might as well stack one of the hottest teams this post-season. With as much rest as they've gotten, they have had, and needed the time to prepare for the Warriors. It's pretty clear Anthony Davis is going to adapt to whatever is thrown at him and thrive, but Moore should be at the top of the secondary scoring. With a low price and defensive consistency, he's going to get the minutes and the shot attempts.

David West - SF, @ GSW ($4,200)

The Warriors shouldn't resort to going small for a lot of this series, but even if they do David West will still produces. He doesn't excel in one specific category but consistently does what needs to be done. His game log is pretty promising because it shows a ton of versatility. West can only really be stopped by either Coach Kerr or himself. Although he should be useful this game, all he needs is minutes and touches to make his presence known. His skill set is contrary to the Warrior strengths so his role is clear, defined and extremely beneficial. Look for West to try and set a precedent tonight.

Other FanDuel DFS Forwards to Consider: Jayson Tatum - SF, vs. MIL ($6,200)

FanDuel DFS Center

Al Horford - C, vs. MIL ($7,700)

There are no centers to spend up for OTHER than Al Horford, this is an easy pick. You could go Tyler Zeller if you wanted extreme value, but there is a lot of risk spread throughout this game. The Celtics focus on team basketball and even if Horford has a good game, his stat line usually doesn't reflect his full impact. He is always scraping at triple-doublish statlines, but sometimes that can bite you in the behind. Horford really isn't being limited by the Bucks frontcourt, but there is always the possibility Horford tosses up a modest 15 point, eight rebound, six assist game that helps the Celtics dominate the Bucks, but hurts every DFS player that rostered him. I'm banking on him having a statistically good night tonight because I'm worried the rest of the Celtics might flounder, causing Horford to pick up ALL the slack.

Other FanDuel DFS Centers to Consider: Thon Maker - PG, @ BOS ($3,600)
