Welcome to week 12 of the college football season! We kicked it off early this week with two games on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we have another two on the board tonight. Both games are going to feature offense, so there are plenty of options for just four teams. Let's dive in and take down another slate!
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college football lineup picks for the slate of games on FanDuel and DraftKings on 11/14/19. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Quarterbacks
Sam Howell - UNC - FanDuel $10,500 / DraftKings $7,700
We actually have four pretty talented quarterbacks to choose from here, but it’s always tough to know what kind of match-up we’re looking at. We’ll look at Dustin Crum first, who faces off with Buffalo at home in Kent. Buffalo is the seventh-best team in the nation against the run, and middle of the road against the pass, so I’m expecting Kent State to have to throw the ball a ton in this one. Crum hasn’t shown he’s capable and he has some affordable weapons to pair him with. He also runs the ball 10+ times a game and may be able to open things up more than a traditional running game. None of these guys are safe, but Crum should finish with at least 15 and he has the upside for 30 if Kent State has any real success through the air.
Dustin Crum - KENT - FanDuel $10,200 / DraftKings $7,000
Like Buffalo, Pitt is one of the best teams in the nation against the run. Through nine games, Pitt is allowing just 2.64 yards per carry and 85 yards per game. It’s going to force UNC to pass more and put the ball in the hands of Sam Howell. He’s been tremendous of late, and Pitt ranks 71st against the pass. He’s been over 300 passing yards in four of the last six weeks with one of those bad weeks against Clemson. Howell is the safest play on this slate at quarterback, but you’re going to pay for that safety.
FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Running Backs
Jaret Patterson - Buffalo - FanDuel $9,300 / DraftKings $7,300
Of all 130 FBS teams, Kent State ranks 127th against the run. Through nine games, they’ve allowed 254 yards per game and five yards per carry on average. Teams without good running backs are running for 150 yards in their sleep. Jaret Patterson has been dominant recently and he’s a lock 20+ carries and 100+ yards and a score. I’m reluctant to say it, but I’d be surprised if Patterson finishes with less than 150 yards and two touchdowns. Jaret Patterson is my biggest priority in all formats.
Kevin Marks - Buffalo - FanDuel $7,700 / DraftKings $5,800
With Pittsburgh and Buffalo two of the top 10 teams in the country against the run, I’m going to stay away from both. I’ll double down with Buffalo here with Kevin Marks and his super-consistent 15-20 carries. He’s not as productive as Patterson, but it’s hard to believe he will be under 100 yards with that volume against such a terrible rush defense. Marks is a lot cheaper than Patterson and I think you can play both on the same team.
A.J Davis - PITT - FanDuel $8,600 / DraftKings $6,000
North Carolina is better against the pass than they are the run, so A.J. Davis should have a chance to get it going at home. He’s been a bit up and down production-wise, but he’s seen 15 carries in three straight weeks and is the clear number one back. If I’m not playing the Buffalo run game, A.J. Davis is my favorite option.
FanDuel, DraftKings DFS Wide Receivers
Dazz Newsome - UNC - FanDuel $9,000 / DraftKings $5,900
Both Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome are in play. They both produce WR1 numbers and seem to switch off due to the match-up. I prefer Dazz Newsome at a cheaper price tag, but you can play both in all formats. Howell has the highest passing yard projection on this slate and I wouldn’t be surprised if both of these guys eclipse 100 yards. Pittsburgh is below average against the pass and great against the run, so UNC should be throwing a ton.
Kavious Price - KENT - FanDuel $8,200 / DraftKings $5,200
If Dustin Crum is one of our two favorite quarterbacks, we should be looking to pair him with a receiver. Kavious Price has been consistent all year long as the number one option and Crum has great chemistry with him. In the last three weeks, Price has caught 16 balls for 231 yards and a touchdown. He also gets a carry or two in most games, so they make it a point to get Price the ball. He’ll see another seven or eight targets in this game and I doubt he’s over 20% owned. Price is my favorite non-UNC wideout.
Antonio Nunn - Buffalo - FanDuel $8,800 / DraftKings $5,000
Ever since Kyle VanTrease took over at QB, Antonio Nunn has stepped up. He’s scored 18 and 22 fantasy points in each of his last two games and now gets an average match-up with Kent State. I’ll have a lot more exposure to this running game, but Nunn is a great filler in both formats.
Antwan Dixon - KENT - FanDuel $6,400 / DraftKings $4,400
I really like taking a shot with Antwan Dixon. He was overtaken by Isaiah McKoy for the number two spot behind Price, but McKoy is suspended and Dixon should get at least four or five targets in this game. He’s extremely explosive with the ball in his hands and I wouldn’t be surprised if he breaks a long TD.
