We have a split slate of games, which was normal for a Saturday and there are plenty of options across the slate. There are a number of aces on the mound who you will want to pay up for, so finding the savings at other positions will be important.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/14/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Chris Archer - P, TAM vs PHI (FD - $8,800)
Archer is one of the most consistent pitchers over the past few seasons and makes a great cash game option tonight. He is up against the Phillies who have a 27% strikeout rate versus right-handed pitchers, which is second worst in the league. He has 22 strikeouts in his first three starts and has put up 24 or more FanDuel points in each start. Archer is allowing a few too many runs in this early part of the season, but that will likely even out as the season goes on. This is a fantastic pitcher's park and not a ton of worry he gets pulled too early, as he has pitched into the sixth inning twice while piling up over 96 pitches twice. The issue for him may be coming away with the win, since the Rays don't have the best offense in the league, and are up against Jake Arrieta today, who is a tough opponent.
Clayton Richard - P, SDP vs SFG (FD - $6,200)
Richard is a cheaper pitcher on today's slate and has shown some nice consistency to start the season. He has three starts under his belt this year, where he has struck out 13 batters, and allowed 10 earned runs. He really isn't a big strikeout pitcher but is rather known for his ability to get the ground ball. To start the season he has a 58% ground ball rate, which is best out of all pitchers in action today. Richard can really limit the potential damage and is now facing off against a Giants team who is one of the weaker offenses in the league, and are fine to attack.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Max Stassi - C, HOU vs TEX (FD - $2,600)
Stassi is likely to see the lineup today since the Astros are facing a left-handed pitcher, meaning Brian McCann should be sitting. Stassi is cheap and also gets you some exposure to the Astros offense, which is never a bad thing. He has a .334 wOBA and a .176 ISO against left-handed pitchers for his career, which won't blow you away, but they are very respectable numbers for a backup. He has seven hits in eight games this season, and six RBI's in that span.
Mitch Moreland - 1B, BOS vs BAL (FD - $2,900)
Moreland is almost certainly going to get the start again today since Ramirez is still dealing with a hand injury. Last night Moreland was one of the chalkier options on the slate and is looking to be in the same type of spot. He comes in with a .336 wOBA and a .143 ISO vs right-handed pitchers, which are solid numbers for a guy who doesn't see full time. Great hitter's park, and great cheap exposure to a strong offense.
Asdrubal Cabrera - 2B, NYM vs MIL (FD - $3,700)
Cabrera and the Mets are off to a scorching hot start this year, and he is being productive nearly every single game. He has an 11 game hitting streak going right and has three home runs in that span. He gets on base, gets runs, and puts up points, simple as that, which makes him one of the better cash game plays on the board. Cabrera has a .388 wOBA and a .267 ISO to start the season vs right-handed pitchers.
Kyle Seager - 3B, SEA vs OAK (FD - $3,100)
Seager is still too cheap tonight, so you should be looking to roster him in your cash games, as he has a very favorable matchup. Tonight he is up against Kendall Graveman, who gave up 1.11 HR/9 to left-handed hitters last season. Seager comes into this game with six hits over his last three, two doubles, one home run, and six RBI's. Great little streak out of him right now and you want to jump on the hot hand.
Francisco Lindor - SS, CLE vs TOR (FD - $4,600)
Last season Lindor had a .376 wOBA and a .224 ISO vs left-handed pitchers, and guess what? He is up against a lefty, putting him in a great spot. That lefty is Jaime Garcia, who gave up a .333 wOBA and 1.04 HR/9 to right-handed hitters last season. Lindor has seven hits over his last three games, with five RBIs, and four doubles.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Hunter Renfroe - OF, SDP vs SFG (FD - $2,700)
Listen carefully here, Hunter Renfroe is way too cheap today, and he IS going to hit a home run tonight. I'm calling it now, the mortal lock of the day, Renfroe goes deep. That might seem a bit confident to you, but let me explain. Last season Renfroe had a .439 wOBA and a .368 ISO vs left-handed pitchers. Those numbers are silly good, and yet this player is under $3K. He is up against one of our favorite gas can's, Derek Holland, who gave up a .408 wOBA and 2.26 HR/9 to righties last season. PLAY RENFROE TONIGHT!
Bryce Harper - OF, WAS vs COL (FD - $5,100)
Harper is looking to be a cash game lock for the early slate and comes in with massive numbers vs right-handed pitchers. So far this season he has a .513 wOBA and a .455 ISO against them and is now up against Jon Gray, who is giving up a .362 wOBA to left-handed hitters this season. Harper has had a few down games in a row, and this is a nice spot for him to bounceback, combined with the fact we should see very strong winds blowing out towards center today.
