We have a nine-game slate on tap for this Thursday, where we will likely see Clayton Kershaw back. He has been on the DL for nearly a month and will make his return against the Phillies. The initial worry is that he won't be going deep into games and is, therefore, not worth his salary.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel on 5/31/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Jose Quintana - P, CHC @ NYM (FD - $8,300)
Quintana is having a very up and down season but is in a good spot to put up some good numbers. He is up against the Mets, who have a 27% strikeout rate vs left-handed pitchers this season, which is second worst in the league. Quintana comes in with six or more strikeouts in three straight starts, a level of production he should be able to reach tonight. Quintana is giving up a .247 wOBA to lefties and a .368 wOBA to righties. There is a bit of risk, but the park factor should help him limit the damage.
Aaron Nola - P, PHI @ LAD (FD - $9,500)
Nola comes in with a 26% strikeout rate this season and now finds himself up against the Dodgers, who have a 22% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers. In his last five starts, Nola has given up one or no earned runs four times. He is truly limiting the damage this year and should be considered among the top pitchers in the league. Nola has 10 or more strikeouts in two of his last four starts and makes a solid play tonight.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Anthony Rizzo - 1B, CHC @ NYM (FD - $4,200)
Rizzo has hits in 11 of his last 12 games with four doubles and three home runs. The power seems to be back for him after a bit of a rough start, but if he is going to be this consistent with the power upside, you want him in your lineups. He comes in with a .342 wOBA and a .194 ISO vs right-handed pitchers this season.
Jose Altuve - 2B, HOU @ BOS (FD - $4,400)
Love the idea of paying up for the Houston right-handed hitters today, since they are in a great spot. They are in Fenway Park with an implied run total sitting at 5.39, which is one of the highest ones on the slate. Altuve comes in with five multi-hit games in his last six outings and makes a great play in any format. Love the stacking upside if you can afford the Houston bats.
Kyle Seager - 3B, SEA vs TEX (FD - $3,300)
Seager is a bit of a riskier play today, but he comes in with some upside and should be lower owned. From face value, the lefty vs lefty matchup is something most people will stay away from, but Seager has a .320 wOBA against LHP. That isn't amazing, but it's good enough, and we are hoping that the Mariners right-handed hitters can get to Mike Minor and thus bring their bad bullpen into play.
Didi Gregorius - SS, NYY @ BAL (FD - $3,900)
Is Didi out of his slump? Well, it's tough to say, but he is worth a look if you are playing GPPs tonight. He has five hits in last three games, but the power just isn't there yet. He still has a .353 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers this season and is up against Andrew Cashner, who is giving up a .378 wOBA to lefties.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Hunter Renfroe - OF, SD vs MIA (FD - $2,300)
Renfroe is very cheap today and will have the platoon advantage against Wei-Yin Chen, who is a flyball pitcher and giving up 2.08 HR/9 to righties this year. Renfroe has a .240 ISO vs left-handed pitchers this season and comes into this game with hits in five of his last six games.
Tommy Pham - OF, STL vs PIT (FD - $3,800)
Pham hasn't had a hit in his last four games and is seriously struggling right now. With those struggles come a bit of a decreased price, so why not take a shot on a guy who has a .203 ISO vs right-handed pitcher this season. He has hit seven of his nine home runs this season against right-handed pitchers.
