FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (10/31/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

We have a seven-game slate tonight, with fantastic options at each position, so you will be looking to jam some of these studs in your lineups. We are a few games into the season and starting to see some good numbers when it comes to usage rate and fantasy points per minute.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/31/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks and our Premium DFS Cheat Sheet. And don't forget to check out our brand new NBA DFS Matchup Ratings tool with daily player projections. Lastly, remember to check your DFS lineups for injury updates.

Make sure you don't set your lineups too early and also be sure to check player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Give me a follow on Twitter @DFS_Tom and let me know how I did. Good luck!

FanDuel DFS Guards

Zach LaVine - SG, CHI vs DEN (FD - $8,500)

With Kris Dunn still out for the Bulls, LaVine is going to run the offense and his usage is simply just insane right now. He comes in with a usage rate sitting at 36.9%, which is a full 10% higher than any other player on the Bulls. LaVine is also averaging 1.27 fantasy points per minute this season, which almost makes him too cheap for his current role in the offense. We have a player who has posted 34 or more FanDuel points in six of his seven games this season. Love the spot for him tonight in a game where the over-under is set at 226 points.

Luka Doncic - SG, DAL @ LAL (FD - $8,000)

Doncic and the Mavericks are up against the Lakers tonight where we have an over-under set at a massive 235 point total, meaning there will be plenty of scoring here. Doncic is averaging 1.04 fantasy points per minute this season and has posted double-digits real points in every single game this season. He has also played 31 minutes or more in every game and we all know that minutes equals money in NBA DFS. Getting exposure to a high scoring game is always a good call and Doncic is a great pick.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Joe Ingles - SF, UTA @ MIN (FD - $6,100)

Ingles is a player who is never truly exciting to roster, but he gets you solid minutes and a solid floor of points. The Jazz will be playing up in pace against the Timberwolves where the over-under is set at 222 points, with the spread only at two points in favor of the Jazz. The Timberwolves are giving up 48 FanDuel points per game to small forwards this season, which is fourth worst in the league. This is a clear spot where we have a player with safe minutes, in a high scoring game who has a very good chance to reach value.

Domantas Sabonis - PF, IND @ NY (FD - $5,300)

Sabonis is putting up 1.29 fantasy points per minute this season, which is second highest on the Pacers, but only has a usage rate of 21%. He doesn' always see a ton of minutes each game, only a high of 28 this season, but when he is on the court, he puts up great numbers. Love the matchup versus the Knicks who are giving up 46 FanDuel points per game to power forwards this season.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Julius Randle - C, NO @ GS (FD - $6,600)

The Pelicans announced last night that Anthony Davis and Elfrid Payton would be out for this game, so their usage in the offense will be shifted elsewhere. This means that Randle should be one of the chalkier plays of the night, as he is averaging 1.48 fantasy points per minute when those two are off the court this season. No over-under set in this game yet, but we should see it in the 220's as they are up against the Warriors, who are giving up 53 FanDuel points per game to centers.
